Bowen Island Lodge

We visited over the weekend for a big health retreat - the twin bedrooms are snug and cozy with a TV and heating. Washrooms were clean and tidy (with shower essentials provided as well). The food definitely exceeded our expectations (there was much variety and very health conscious!), and the staff were very friendly, welcoming, and attentive to our requests/needs. The lodge is situated right in front of the water, and the scenery of the trees/mountains is quite breathtaking. Great hospitality overall; I would definitely recommend!

Came for a wedding. Very picturesque and lovely! Staff was friendly. My only concern was that a week before the wedding the bride was told that they would not provide chairs for the ceremony or silverware for the reception. This would be an extra rental fee of about $1000. This was included in the contract and was resolved quickly but that is not a call that any bride needs a week before the event. Accomodation rooms were adiquate but not luxurious. Bathrooms are shared.

Lovely service, very friendly and respectful to you. Unfortunately the hot tube wasn’t operating while I was there but didn’t take anything away from the lodge. Gorgeous location, private and on the river.

Visited the lodge for a wedding. The venue is beautiful and right on the water. The staff were friendly for the most part but were a little intense on some rules" especially concerning alcohol. The rooms share bathrooms which we were aware of before coming

Great staff ... great views and dock/wharf ... and best of all really comfy bed!! In town" the Snug serves fab breakie and lunch ... Tuscany has pizza to die for ... all in all a wonderful place to stay"

Absolutely gorgeous! Spent the days before my wedding soaking up the sun on the private dock, kayaking and lounging with all our friends and family before trying the knot. Could not have asked for a more beautifully classic setting. Staff was incredibly accommodating and generous and especially understanding when things got a little too noisey. The rooms were bright and comfortable. Cosmo the dog was is the perfect addition to a magical place.

Our experience with Bowen Island Lodge was a complete and utter disappointment!After booking and paying for our rooms in good faith, we tried to contact the management to modify our reservations and cancel one of the rooms we had booked. After numerous e-mails and phone calls they finally decided to contact us.After feeling a little disappointed with the delay and the service we were receiving we decided that we would cancel the remaining room.Again we send two emails including a Credit card refund authorization, and another phone call, we spent another week and a half waiting for a reply.On the day we were due to arrive at the Lodge we expected a call because we had not arrived. But there was nothing.The next day I contacted the Credit card company and explained the situation and asked how to disputed the charge.After writing a letter and copying all e-mails and submitting them we finally revived an e-mail stating that they had reversed the charges on our card.I can only assume that the Credit card company had contacted them.I WILL NOT recommend this Lodge to anyone!!!

Attended a wedding here, the venue and scenery are gorgeous and had everything we needed. There was some miscommunication about amenities but everything was sorted out in time!

Bowen Island Lodge is the perfect mix of seclusion and having immediate access to everything that makes your stay on Bowen all that more enjoyable. It was so convenient to walk off the ferry and walk directly to the lodge to be greeted by Sam - the lodge's fantastic host. A great place to unwind with friends and family any time of the year.
