Nice shady parking lot at the south end of the park. Easy walk to many picnic tables under the trees and of course the wide sandy beach.

Parking is plentiful with many shady areas. This will be important as the planet heats up. We need more trees with shade, especially at malls.

I'd say that I preferred parking at the other place. But this was still a nice parking experience. I was able to pull my vehicle in very nicely to the parking area.
