What’s not to love about Stan’s? The breakfasts are good, prices are right, the place is bright and large, and the waitress is the best! I’ve been taking a local car club here for ‘Beaters+Breakfast’ for the past 4 years now and we’ve never been disappointed. Don’t expect great coffee, lates, and fresh squeezed orange juice….just simple breakfasts done well and served quickly with a smile….and the coffee mug is never empty!

This is a great breakfast place, the food was delicious and unlike a lot of diner's the homefries were cooked to perfection; not too greasy and made fresh! The bacon was crispy, but not over done and the eggs made exactly as ordered and advertised. I also tried their bacon and egg sandwich and it was better than I thought it was going to be, actual toast, eggs (NOT ready made eggs) and bacon. Unexpectedly it came with a coffee that was better than most diner coffees and if you know me, then you know I love coffee. The price won't break your wallet and you definitely need to get your breakfast at Stan's Diner.

Old style atmosphere, i love it, the food ig really good. Real fries not frozen. We had a little asian waitress and she took excellent care of us.

Food is a good price, can't go wrong. A cheaper place to go for breakfast with the family or taking a pit stop through town. Service is friendly and coffee freely available, wish they offered tea too in the same way. Could do with an upgrade in the interior, but other than that, it's a good place

I really enjoy returning here. Breakfast is all I have experienced each visit. Having said, he has made my meal precisely the way I ask, each time. A very hard worker who is very proud of his diner. My breakfast was delicious.This diner itself is huge with so many seats available!! An excellent suggestion for an office group breakfast or lunch. Prices are awesome by the way. Rustic decor, clean and spacious. Air quality is good.Many large windows for natural light, and each have shades to block the sun if needed.This is my #1 go to place for early morning breakfasts. #localguide

Nice standard breakfasts for a good price. Laid back, casual atmosphere. Best decaf in Ottawa. On par with McCafe. This place has been my favourite breakfast place for 25 years, due to the consistent breakfast quality, fair prices, and laid-back atmosphere.

Greasy spoon breakfast type place.We went before COVID times and we had a younger man serve us. He was amazing. The potatoes were amazing. Fried potatoes not deep-fried. Homestyle with no onions (yay!) - that was a 5 star greasy spoon experience.But, we went recently and the waitress was not the friendliest, but maybe she was having a terrible day. And unfortunately the potatoes were a little burnt compared to all the amazing times before Covid.Not sure what has happened but it definitely could use a refresh/update, and the food isn’t as great as it once was. Or maybe it was an off day.I would try it one more time to see if these changes are the new standard for them or if the staff and food were having a bad day.Lots of parking though!

I've been wanting to stop in like 35 years ago but finally went today. The hot dog was simple (small bun, small wiener, fried onions) but tasty. The fries were good and were a large portion. A bit pricey, but not by a lot. I will return for their breakfast - that menu looked good.

They provide excellent standard breakfast. Lots of space location is clean staff is attentive. Great value for what you get.
