They charge huge fees!

Maybe you need to have an ongoing hiring process because you're still asking people to get vaccinated!I see nothing about being vaccinated for Hepatitis A or Hep B, something every service plumber should be vaccinated against and something I've paid out of my own pocket in past!I've canceled my interview with Hakkon in past! You were extremely impressed with my resume and I would have made out to be an extremely valued employee for years to come!But this is really sounding like discrimination at this pointGood luck with 2nd rate technicians

I represent this manufacturer and so my review would be completely self serving and biased. But after reading the borderline racist one star review from JC Archer I have to say a few (or more) words. First off check this disgruntled persons history of reviews for more anger toward people with accents.Haakon is run and staffed by Canadians and Americans. They only manufacturer in Kingston Ontario (East) and Cheney Washington (West) and buy US steel. I have represented Haakon for 5 years and have never spoken to anyone with any accent other than a Canadian accent. I suppose it is possible that an Asian person with an accent could work at Haakon due to Vancouver having a large Asian population and that being where all Haakon's engineering done. Doubtful an engineer would be answering the main line. Other than some massive clients that deal directly with Haakon, they operate 100% through their local reps and rely fully on their local reps to provide sales and service. From a corporate stand point they are an engineering manufacturing firm. No marketing, and no customer service hotline. The no customer service may sound odd but that is what your local Haakon rep is there for, and seeing as the sales of their equipment is the means to which the rep makes a living, it is in their best interest to make sure you are taken care of promptly. If an end user were to call Haakon directly they most certainly would be pushed back to speak with their local rep. If a local rep is bad at what they do it would be a matter of time that they would be replaced. Because bad service would lead to poor sales.I have never had a customer that isn't happy with a Haakon unit once the project is complete.

Haakon has been the maitenance contractor at my condo for a while.Their fees seem low when you sign up with them but they overcharge you for inspections and repairs, and so far everything they fix seems to break within 6 months later. We did try and talk with them communicating our issues seeking change but absolutely nothing was done. Have had to switch to a new provider.

Our first instincts are usually to post negitive reviews about customer service experiences rather than take the time to congratulate, acknowledge or thank someone for their efforts. I have had the pleasure of getting to know the team over at Haakon for the past couple of years, from a separate customer service based industry. I was incredibly impressed with the level of professionalism and efficiencies within their organization. Some of which we are slowly implelmenting into our own organization. I also admire the their commitment to encourage continued ongoing training and employee growth within their company through internal and 3rd party training organizations. As a fellow business owner, I can appreciate the commitment they have made to their staff and I think it shows in their professionalism all around. This company is light-years ahead of your average" HVAC company in terms of training
