My husband and I recently married in Kananaskis and 8 Cakes Bake Shoppe & Cafe made our wedding cake and cupcakes and they were beautiful and absolutely delicious! The team at 8 Cakes was easy to work with and very responsive, which helped us with coordination for cake and cupcake pickup by our family members flying into Calgary. We provided an inspiration photo for what we wanted our cake to look like and the product was even better than we expected (see photo below; wedding cake topper by others)! 8 Cakes is also very accommodating when it comes to dietary restrictions as about half of our wedding party was gluten free--and their gluten free goods were still amazing! I highly recommend 8 Cakes!

Ordered the Salted Caramel Vegan cake for my sister's birthday. I've ordered several vegan cakes around the city and this is the first time from 8 Cakes. The girl in the front was very friendly and gave me instructions on how long to take the care out before serving it. Vegan cakes 30 minutes and their regular cakes 1 hour. This cake was a huge hit. My sister loved it. The caramel was amazing and really can't believe it's vegan. The icing was light and the sweetness was perfect. The cakes was dense and so moist. The cake was not over sweet like all vegan cakes we've had. Everyone enjoyed the cake and we will definitely order another from here again. Thank you!! Honestly this is the best vegan cake in the city.

Best cake shop in entire Calgary! I recently got a cake for my baby’s sip ‘n’ see event and it was absolutely deliciousThe cake was as a super hit at the evnt, all my guests loved it!This is my third cake from them! My entire family is in love with their cakes :)

We were all so excited to try the cake sandwiches. We purchased 4 and a small cake for Mother’s Day. I was actually shocked by the price of the sandwiches, but if they tasted amazing I could swallow the price. They did not sadly. The cake was dry all around. So disappointing. We have been long time fans of 8 cakes and sent many people there however this last purchase was truly disappointing.I’m adding to this as I want to reply to the reply. Cake is room temp, still dry. I am a business owner and completely understand inflation but $12 for a cake sandwich is just too much for dry cake.

Tried the cookies and cake sandwiches for the first time today and they were all DELICIOUS! We couldnt even pick a favourite flavour and already have plans to go back and try the rest. I have found that a lot of novelty products don't always taste the best, but these taste even better than I expected!

Amazing, I recently discovered 8Cakes through their viral tik tok cake sandwiches.I purchased the caramel, Cookie Monster and strawberry sandwiches. Oh wow. So clean tasting. I love the trendy style of the packaging. Great idea. The cake was moist, good amount of filling and super tasty.What will be next flavour coming out?Key Lime pie?

Saw the Cake Sandwiches on Instagram and started looking for them at Fresh and Local Market in Avenida. I finally found them this week and hope to find it again. The cake to icing ratio is lovely and such a fun presentation. I had the Cookie Monster and vegan Cookies and Cream. Highly recommend both and look forward to more flavours in the future. You have to try them!

We ordered Red velvet cake with salted Caramel cake. Honestly was kinda disappointed. It was too sweet and the butter was so thick and hard. Stars are for some quality customer service only because they seem nice and hard working.
