Highly NOT recommended. I had previously used this company and was satisfied . But it was an expensive disaster this time. Forced to pay after hours service rate for work done during normal service hours. Apart from that insult, their work failed within the month. Company not available to repair in reasonable time frame- literally told me to find someone else to fix their work. So i had to hire a reputable company to complete the repair. Ended up paying twice for one job. Go with a reputable company with the staffing manpower to do the job one right the first time... and one that will stand by their work.

Had GI Joe in to do a check on both our Furnace and AC. They did a great job checking all the boxes and explaining any fixes required. Solid work, good value.

GI Joe was recommended to me by my plumber and the service did not disappoint. Professional, quality work, very clean and courteous. 10/10 would recommend.

Unfortunately this is a bad review.. I would advise everyone never to use Jody Buckley. October 27th, 2021 Jody sent one of his employees Lee (who was incredibly rude) to install a gas fire insert with a fan. Firstly, he installed the wrong fireplace which was switched out the next day and he was unable to install a fan because he measured the space incorrectly, on top of this, he didn't have the backer plate to make the fireplace flush.. I was assured it would be back in stock within 3 weeks and I agreed to pay for the service and withhold $1,000 until it was complete (big mistake).I contacted Jody on December 4th for an ETA on the missing part and to tell him the fire was sitting off the plumb plus was bringing in a draft due to the poor installation.. He had no ETA. I checked in again January 17th, 2022 and was told at least 3 weeks.. I asked for the name of the missing part and ordered it myself from Ontario the same day costing me $451.45.The city of Calgary failed the permit that I paid for..I contacted Diamond Fireplace and Jurgen and his team sorted this whole mess out for me costing an additional $615. It turns out that not only did Jody not install the fan which was an additional $250 on the quote but he used the existing panel from my old insert, even though I was charged for a new one and of course the backer plate.. 3 missing items paid for and an incomplete jobPerhaps like some of the reviews say he has affordable price" and is a good plumber

For any heating needs, look no further. After being royally let down by one of the major furnace companies, GI Joe came recommended on a neighbour app. The owner Jody is beyond wonderful. Professional, honest, accountable & helpful to maximize result & cost effectiveness. The responsivity & timeliness was better than any I’ve ever experienced from a service provider. We got a brand new furnace & thermostat installed within days of contact & couldn’t be happier. Thank you Jody & GI Joe team!

Jody and his team have been exceptional for our furnace, hot water tank, and airconditioner needs over the years. They have helped serviced those key things on our homes; they have been able to install several hot water tanks, and a furnace and his guidance has been awesome. He's even helped me replace a thermocouple for a hot-water tank! Definitely recommend his services for fellow RE investors as well as homeowners in need of honest and reliable service!
