They charged us $100 for a $14 bottle of wine at LCBO. I felt super pressured by the waiter to pick something and he wouldn’t give me time to look over the menu properly. Then he barley spoke to us the entire night. The portion was small. The salmon was dry and the spinach was bitter. Nothing extra on the plate, just a small piece of salmon and a couple leaves of spinach. The ambiance was nice but everything else pretty much sucked. I really don’t recommend going hereResponse to the owner: then tell that to your staff that charged us just under $100 for a bottle of wine. I literally have no reason to lie about that.

Reasonably pleasant place for somewhat upscale business lunches/dinner meetings! Located in the heart of downtown Toronto, this restaurant is close to offices in Toronto financial district. Servers are friendly. Have tried some of their main dishes and would recommend their Branzino (sea bass), tuna steak, shrimp pasta .. these are mu go to dishes and I can vouch for them in the main course. They have a good collection of Italian desserts too.

Had a corporate dinner with my team at Modus Ristorante and overall a good experience. Staff was very friendly and polite, wine selection was vast and the food was good.

Updating my review for a second visit! Still not disappointed, amazing service, lovely staff and delicious pasta. Finally got a peek inside too, this place is beautiful, food is delicious and for me the prices are fair. And yes, I will be back again soon!

Excellent service, love the atmosphere, tasty food but it didn’t really wow me. Still enjoyed it though!Overall had a pleasant time.

Great food, ambience and services. Most of the dishes are delicious, fresh and executed very well. My favorites are the grilled calamari, grilled prawns and saffron risottos with seared scallops. Bread and side dishes are also very decent. Highly recommended for business lunch. Service was very attentive and efficient.

The salmon tartare with crème fraiche was delish. Aside from that dish, I didn't overly enjoy anything else. Service was fine. The decor was pretty, but it's not enough positives to draw me back.

If you can read one review, let it be this one. I went for the valentines experience with my partner and both of us were underwhelmed. The music and ambiance were the saving graces. The food portions were miniscule for the pricing, there are much better fine dining restaurants in the downtown with more presentable portions. The spinach we had with the salmon was very soggy but I am not one to complain on that. The biggest shock was the up selling on the wine. Being that I work in that industry I know the pricing of certain brands and such. The Rose we were served (the server recommended it to us) was 5 times the price it is in the LCBO. I understand the markup in general for restaurants but that's a disgusting markup. We spent $200 dollars plus a tip, so you're looking at $250 at the minimum without deserts for just dinner and their chepest appetizer. Much better experiences out there.

Food was very good. Very large dining room that accommodates large groups dining. The front end of the restaurant gives off a cozier feel. Our server spoke French so that was a nice touch!

Delicious! The prices are reasonable for the quality and the taste of the food.Service staff is nice. They have an excellent wine list. Location is right downtown Toronto. It may be hard to find parking around the area.
