King Street Market

We get our meat products from this place every couple of weeks. My husband, Jim (from Bobcaygeon) calls in his lengthy order a few days ahead of time, and we always get a confirmation call when it's ready. We usually get to go pick it up before the business is actually open to public, which is very convenient, esp. while in Peterborough visiting MIL early in the morning. The meat and such is top of the line, melt in your mouth good steaks. We always get my filet mignons/bacon wrapped, and Jim's either Porterhouse or T bones. The pork chops are sublime, butterfly cut are thick and juicy, perfect. The smoked chops are amazing. We get four stuffed chicken breasts, stuffed and tied w/ a seasoned bread stuffing. Jim gets these thick little pepperoni type sticks he loves to snack on. The homemade salads are extra tasty, bean medley salad, potato salad to name a couple. The staff are very friendly and like I said, they are very accommodating. Recommend highly A+++

Their selection of sausages is incredible which includes flavours like chichen curry and Thai chicken.

Pork belly is fantastic! The price is unbeatable!1 pound for 7$ only! Cannot get better than this.The shrimp is amazing as well

Excellent choice of foods. Many premade meals...bought a cherry pie. It was exceptional! The hamburger is competitively priced and much less fat than grocery hamburger. Sausages are wonderful!

Had the rib steaks from this place. To die for!!! Absolutely fabulous on the grill, will definitely buy here again!
