Bay 200 Apartments

The management of this building is a bit annoying compared to the first two apartments I lived in. I think they were entering the rooms too many times, although each time they gave notice.Also I can't understand why I can't put anything on the balcony but the other apartments can. Bright lights were coming through the windows at night and I had to put newspaper on the windows to block the light. I don't understand why I can't do that. Can management and Homestead company become a little more humane? I have a million whys in my mind. I’m speechless.

I just spoke to the building manager and she was condescending and rude and was refusing to understand unique situations of international students. I asked her to stop being condescending and she called me belligerent. That is racist, I did not raise my voice whatsoever and I do have a recording of this. She proceeded to hang up on me. I believe the person I spoke to was Nikki, I do not fully remember but this is a racist company that commits microaggressions. save yourself

I'd love to give this place a big fat ZERO!!! One of my family members lives in this building and has had nothing bug cockroach infestations!! The entire building is crawling and the management/owners will do NOTHING! Don't move here! The rent is ridiculous for what you get...or don't get.

I am being humble to give this property management 1 star. They do not even deserve 1 star. I felt humiliated by the way the staff communicated and behaved. I will never recommend any apartment from this management company to anyone. Save your time, energy, money and respect by avoiding their resident buildings. Self-esteem is above everything. Where there is no respect for others, there can not be safety or living.

The staff at Homestead Land holdings are so rude, arrogant, and insensitive. They do not know how to do their jobs properly. With every kind of job, a person should know their responsibilities and must be held accountable for their actions/behaviours with others. Building management has of course more power than its tenants. But, that does not mean they have the right to treat people with rudeness. The staff is so not aware about the current COVID situations. Some are heavily misinformed and because of their lack of understanding, the tenants or potential tenants are suffering. The service is so demeaning.

So far it has been ok. Some of the neighbours are nosey. We had ongoing sprays but thank God that came to an end for a while. We like living here for the most part. Some of the neighbours are nice but a few are rude and they need to stop. Other than that things are fine here. We love the quiet and privacy and the huge balconies. When we want work done they are good with that. But we need to make sure pest control completely takes care of the problem. Then we will be set. Other than that no complaints. Nice huge bedrooms! We love our bedroom and our view! The management has been pretty patient with us. I have PTSD and when the fire alarm goes off they are good to me when hubby is not home. So there is some good points. Dogs are friendly. It is PET FRIENDLY. THAT PART I LIKE. We are happy here for the most part. It is central to my doc appts. And central to downtown. Yes! A bonus. I shared my concerns but I also shared POSITIVE points too. Ok well all cheers. 200 Bay Street has been here for us and got us out of a bad situation. So hands up to the management.

In-laws live here and have for many years now. Yes there are bugs in the building but so long as you let them know their in your unit they call in pest control.

Literally worst building I’ve ever lived in and the staff are rude, Deb is unbearable.Cockroaches I had sprayed over 12 times and still have them, it’s dirty and the parking lot has massive holes the exercise/pool/facilities are all NEVER open so we pay for that why??? BBQs are broken or don’t turn on.When you need to speak with staff they are distant and rude and extremely unhelpful. The amount of times I’ve been ignored and hung up on is insane.That being said they have good maintenance staff but the fact Deb is somehow a manager is proof enough that this place is messed up and NOT worth living in.Look to live somewhere else you have been warned!

HORRIBLE STAFF !!Do not fall in the trap of these people. They are extremely rude and not helping at all. If you are doing your job, do it nicely. If people are being nice to you, be nice to them. It doesn't take a lot of effort to be nice. I have met many homestead staff and they have been pleasant as ever but this staff is horrible. I hope homestead reads it and instead of making strict rental policies, make strict 'BE NICE TO TENANTS' policy instead. We are paying too high for a better service and not to be around rude and helpless management.

Used to live in this building, lived there for 2 years, in 1 year we had the apartment sprayed 15 times for both bedbugs and cockroaches, needless to say it didn't help, we used to keep a night light on in the kitchen, otherwise if we turned the light out, the coffee maker would walk away on it's own. When we moved out we threw out, literally everything electrical in the kitchen, Microwave, Keurig, Toaster, Blender, EVERYTHING. The place is a disaster, when we where there they Renovated" the elevator landings
