Just discovered the shop, and was very happy to find a great place to get coral and fish. They have the best selection of coral that I have found in Winnipeg. The owner was extremely helpful. He helped me select coral, that would be suitable for my tank and spent a lot of time teaching me about the coral and placement, and even gave me a quick demonstration on fragging. The prices were fabulous. Highly recommended. They also had a nice selection of freshwater fish.

Arguably the best one-stop-shop for all your aquatic needs in the city. The owner is personable, takes his time to identify your needs and helps you to make an informed purchase. The selection of dry-goods is outstanding, plus the variety & health of his corals is superb. I've also had a custom 'all-in-one' saltwater system built from him including a custom designed power-coated stand. Attention to detail is obvious and he really caters to your exact specifications & needs. I would not hesitate to recommend this store to anyone in the saltwater (and now freshwater) market. You will not be disappointed.

After KP closed, it felt like a hit in the aquatic world and I could not be happier that Concrete Blonde is here filling those shoes. It's been amazing watching the store grow and it's always a good time chatting to any of the workers. We don't have many local fish stores, but I am happy the ones we do have are so amazing, passionate and knowledgeable about what they do. Would and continue to recommend Concrete Blonde to everyone!

George has been absolutely amazing to work with and has been helping me figure out how to setup a new reef tank. He seems to take genuine care of all his fish. It's always telling to me when a store owner denies a sale because they know the individual is not ready to take on, in this case, a new fish. Looking forward to getting my new tank setup!

Concrete Blonde really has the best of everything to offer. Fish, corals, advice and support. They helped me set up a brand new large aquarium and the result has been a fully automated, extremely professional looking system with all the details taken care of. Best of the best!

First visit today! Great customer service! I had a ton of questions about water quality and every question was answered.Beautiful, healthy stock. Today I bought freshwater shrimp and left the store feeling confident and excited about my first time raising these lively little critters. I will be back!

This is my favorite fish store in Winnipeg, go check it out! The owner is knowledgable and passionate about what he does. I always enjoy my visits here. The fish and plants I have purchased here have been healthy and great quality! Here's photos of my young female betta I purchased here. She has been changing color, so neat!

We have been to Concrete Blonde Aquatics a couple of times now, the store is very nice . the tanks are very nicely done and the fish are very well kept. We got some fish and a new filter George showed us all the features and how to service it as well. Everyone is very friendly and a wealth of knowledge. If you are in the fish / aquarium hobby you need to check this store out. They will be our new regular go to for our needs!

Concrete Blonde Aquatics
Went there today to stock my daughter’s new aquarium and add some tetras to mine. George is so so friendly and helpful and made the whole experience there fantastic. He also let her hold a starfish which made her whole day. Cannot recommend this place enough. Clean and well stocked as well.
