Alforno Restaurant and Pizzeria
We only ever get takeout, but the pizza is excellent. The gluten-free crust is yummy and our favorite flavor is the chicken alforno, but the pepperoni and hawaiian are great too. The baked chicken alfredo is a must have. Creamy, cheesy and a little greasy but you must try it!

I loved the food at this place, and at the same time the service was terrific! I wish there were more employees working here though. There was just one server who was taking care of the whole restaurant alone. So, if you're here, it may take a bit of time for you to get your order. However, our server was very sweet and provided us with the best service. Loved the place!

Golden is a small town with little tourism compared to Banff or Jasper, but definitely a place yo visit

After getting there and seeing open tables, we thought everything would be fine as we have a child. However, we were told the wait time was 1h+ if we wanted to order... so we ended up going to A&W because all the other promising restaurants were 18+ at that point in the day.

We had 5 people all come out to get some pizza, I had the bbq pulled pork so I’ll speak to how great that pizza was. I coupled the pizza with a paralyzer and it slapped. Ask for the jalapeño dipping sauce and another when you box it up. Server was nice and had it all by memory which always scares me but it came out as per order, classic! The food and the view were fantastic but the service was one of the worst we've ever had. Not rude, just clueless on serving. No forward thought, we had to ask for everything; table clearance, drinks, drink refills, ketchup for the fries, the table to be wiped, we didn't bother asking for pepper because our poutine would have been cold by the time we got it. The only thing they brought on their own was the debit machine at the end, with no bill. No run down of what we ordered and the costs.The food and the view make it worth it; we had poutine with amazing cheese, a meat pizza that was stacked and crispy and the spinach salad with chicken which was absolutely delicious, one of the best I've had. We sat on the outdoor patio looking at the mountains and it was gorgeous! Just bring your patience with you.

We visited whilst touring around the area (we stayed at the RV park up the road)Although the place was busy, we were seated quickly - with menus from which to choose our food.I was undecided whether to have buffalo burger - or a house special pizza, our waitress helped the decision to have the pizza.The local IPA was great (Begbies)The food arrived - we were famished and very pleased with our choices.Totally delicious.If you're in the area - give these guys a visit - you won't be disappointed.

We ordered 3 large pizza and got meat bone in pizza slice when i phoned Alforno they refused to refund and refused to replace the large pizza. Not good management, I do not recommend this restaurant. We will never buy pizza from Alforno again

Alforno Restaurant and Pizzeria
I visiter on January 25th. At first, we were a little thrown off by the restaurant’s location in the back of a Day’s Inn hotel.The pizzas we ordered surpassed our expectations. But what really impressed us was the waitress. She was tending bar and managing several tables at once. Her personality really shone through. She was attentive, funny, caring, and efficient. Thanks to her incredible service, I quickly forgot we were eating in the back of a Days Inn. The cooks did a good job and the waitress did a great one.
