Four Points by Sheraton Victoria Gateway

Such a wonderful experience!! This hotel went above and beyond what I had expected- and most importantly the staff is incredible. The manager Malcolm Stevens is super friendly and inviting- definitely feels like family here & wished we could have stayed longer lol. Hats off to one of the best on the entire island !

Before I get to the point, I would stay here again. But compensation would have been nice for the experience. I came with my partner and a friend for a sporting event in the area. We stayed one night, from the moment we pulled up, it reminded me of Whistler. The lobby was nice but it was loud. It was busy. One young guy at the counter who’s name I can’t remember, he seemed about my age and decent, however I feel he could have handled the situation a little better. We booked through Hotwire and I’ve never had any issues. He requested that I put a deposit down for cleaning which isn’t completely uncommon however the attitude toward the situation when I had two working credit cards decline. My next option was to load money to my KOHO card which is prepaid credit card, the service in the hotel lobby was poor and I had to step outside to get service however my app wasn’t working. He said in a decent tone but a sharp attitude that he can’t check me in unless we have a credit card on file. My partner and our friend and I are all very blue collared and not the typical hotel crowd. The look on his face was a little hysterical and we were stressed after a long journey from the interior. He didn’t offer compensation, he helped other guests while “helping” me. We ended up having to manually input a credit card many faxes later from someone else not on the trip with us as the other two didn’t have credit cards. Finally we get to our room and the TV channel options were horrible, the room was cold, the fridge was horribly small and there was no microwave which I found odd. The soap smelled like old spice which I’m not particularly picky about but it was a very strong scent. This went for everything including shampoo conditioner body wash, hand soap and the lotion. The hotel was loud the doors were slamming often with no soft release on them, the lock was confusing and the drapes didn’t close properly. I know Langford isn’t the safest neighbourhood to be staying in, I’m glad I had the two guys with me. Personally I don’t know id stay here alone as a woman. I hope to come back and give it another chance. But some compensation for the difficult check in process would have been nice. Also would have been nice if the hotel offered shuttle service to the shopping plaza up ahead, it was nearly a 30 min walk uphill even though it’s 2 mins by car. Ladies in the bar downstairs were lovely although the barstools were too short for the bar and the music was a bit too loud.

Clean, fairly large rooms. The communal boardroom-table was nice for getting some work done. Their pantry was a solid go-to for late night snacks (although their meat and cheese pack was a total rip off, lol). Customer service was great.

I love this hotel, I had no idea it was even here!The renovations they had done make this hotel exceptional for look and style.Joel was also extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly with accommodating our questions and needs.All staff here were welcoming.The pub is also very nice, great staff.Would highly recommend to anyone needing a place to stay in Langford.Will definitely be hosting business events here!

Had a 5 night stay recently with my husband. My favourite three items: 1) All the wait staff were super friendly, courteous and efficient; 2) The grounds are beautifully landscaped; not all hotels have such inspired flowerscapes; and, 3) the beds and pillows were very comfortable. A few minutes out of the downtown core, but easily accessed by the Trans Canada. Recommended.

The hotel was VERY NOISY and although the room was clean, there was a big old dried up liquid mark on the wall. It was gross. The room had an adjoining door and I could hear everything in the next room. The front desk and cleaning staff were friendly and accommodating. On the day and evening of our stay, there many, many children running up and down the hallway and screaming loudly for hours. Their chaperones were sitting in the lounge area (right outside our room) socializing.This was a terrible set up for guests to stay and relax. We booked a night there so we could get some peace and quiet. This place was loud! I have never been to a hotel so noisy, ever! By 920 pm, I packed my stuff and told my husband I have to go. I wanted sleep and peace desperately. I went to check out and was told to wait for the manager. The manager didn't understand what the problem was and didn't admit any wrongdoing on the hotel's part. He said the parents all signed a contract to be quiet by 930" which is great

Good day,I have 3 nights booking in your Hotel in room 328 June 9-12 2023 when I’m stay in your I’m so happy because it’s clean and the food is delicious specially the breakfast and the service is fast and I would like to recognize PJ the guy in front desk the day I’m there he is very polite when he talk to the guest I feel he is willing to help to all the guest he explaining everything about the hotel and every time I’m in lobby I always see him he always busy to help to the guest and he always say Hello yo all the guest he always smiling to all the customers and I know when I’m stay there it’s so busy but the cleanliness is good. Keep it up

I'd like to give a big shout-out to the Four Points by Sheraton Victoria Gateway staff. From Joel Owen, Sales Manager, Corporate & Catering to all the catering staff (Gonzalo, Julia, Front Desk, Maintenance, etc.) - literally everyone made such a great and pleasant stay for all of us during our corporate gathering. The rooms were amazing and sparkly clean, the event was flawless, and everything was just great! We definitely recommend this hotel in Langford, BC as one of THE BEST for corporate and family events. We will come back, and for sure I would love be back, now with my family to enjoy even more! THANKS to all!
