Interactive Dog

Jeff trained three of our dogs in our home/outside environment. We have had extraordinary success in that we saw huge improvements in behaviour within three weeks. This included managing two rescue dogs recently, one older dog we've had for 18 months and a four month old we've had for a month. The challenges with two dogs were different but the same techniques work. Jeff's pricing is very reasonable considering he comes to your house. Three visits have always been enough for us. Jeff communicates clearly and always arrives on time.

We have been having issues recently with our pyrenees being unpredictably aggressive. The second Jeff came into our house our dog Link was like a different dog. Jeff's calming presence and energy does wonders to get a stubborn dog to want to start learning/pleasing. Between Jeff being here for the two sessions we have done, and the training he gave Link's humans (us) for consistency between the sessions, it's done WONDERS already for Link within our house and interacting outside. We were starting to worry we would have to give Link up but now we have the confidence to continue being consistent with his training and seeing a different personality emerge. Thank you Jeff!!!!

I contacted Jeff a couple months ago after reviewing his website and noticing his prices were very reasonable and not a huge committment upfront! Jeff was quick to email back, very reassuring, and excited to help us on our journey with our rescue Pup from Mexico. Jeff is always on time for his scheduled sessions and it is evident this is his true calling. Millie took to him right away! We loved that he could join us in home and even had the kids join in on training. My kids know exactly how to assist us with the training process and he allowed them more opportunity to bond with our new member this way!Within a few sessions our sweet Millie was an entirely different dog. We no longer had her jumping on people. She understood basic commands. She went to her bed when we were at the table without being asked instead of begging under the table. She no longer was taking food from counters or jumping up on the counter. She now waits until we let her know its ok to leave our threshold and will wait until given the ok" to eat anything in her reach. We are receiving compliments from family

Such a great experience - during our first lesson, our 5 year old dog was responding so well to training and was doing things that we never anticipated that she would pick up on. Jeff was super patient with her and taught her very valuable commands. Looking forward to the next lesson. Highly recommend.

We had a very positive first session with Jeff for our 2yo Border Collie with reactivity. He showed us some great tools to help desensitize him to triggers and we’re excited to get started!

Jeff started working with our 2-year-old terrier mix about a month ago, shortly after we adopted her. A rough beginning (living on the street followed by a couple of different shelters) had left her without a lot of social skills; she snarled randomly at us and our other dog and bit me and my son on a couple of occasions, leaving me pretty nervous around her. The first thing Jeff did for us was to show us that our dog's snarling wasn't actually random; she was guarding resources and trying to figure out her status in the family. He showed us how to work with her and our other dog, using classical conditioning and communicating with her gently but firmly. We noticed a difference in her (and us) after one session; it was obvious that both dogs actually enjoyed the training and liked and trusted Jeff completely. Though we still have a ways to go, we're confident that, with Jeff's help, she'll be a calm and happy member of the family. Among the things we really appreciate about Jeff's approach is his patience, humour, relaxed attitude, and ability to explain his technique in a way that makes sense, and that we can use ourselves. He also supplies helpful written materials for review. An excellent trainer who we would recommend strongly and unreservedly!

Just finished training with Jeff. He was amazing, he taught our puppy all the basic commands within an hour. His prices are great as well! Definitely will be calling him back!

I contacted Jeff of Interactive Dog because he was highly recommended to me.Jeff was quick to respond to my emails so we able to arrange a training session quickly. My dog, my husband and I all learned a lot at the initial session. Jeff was very patient with us. and impressed us with his level of knowledge and experience. We were so pleased that we asked to have additional sessions since my husband and I are new to being dog owners.

Jeff was really wonderful and patient with our pup Delaney and us. He gave us a great starting point to help Delaney be more confident and less reactive in various situations. We're looking forward to doing more training with Jeff.
