I’ve run into trouble with my two Volvos a few times since moving to guelph and always take them to Peter. He is kind and knowledgeable, and works quickly while trying his best to keep costs to a minimum. Highly recommend his services!

Personally and professionally, Peter is great but I've had some serious, serious issues is with the quality of his work. Some was well done (some suspension work, safeties, etc), but he also seriously botched a couple of jobs for me. I had a clutch job done that was never right. Had to have it redone elsewhere (properly) at a loss of over $1000. Subsequently, I had him replace a gas tank for me. He was great, got me a used tank and saved me a bundle, but the job was horribly done. All 6 of the bolts holding my driveshaft to the differential were only hand tightened. Two backed out completely after a day. Had I not climbed under the car to inspect the work, suspecting a problem, this would have irreparably damaged the car - at best. Several exhaust bolts were not reinstalled - or also not tightened an they fell out - so I had to source and fix those. Finally, the fuel level sender was not installed or calibrated properly, costing me a $50 tow when the tank turned out to be completely empty when it read 1/8 full. Your mileage may vary.

Peter is excellent. Honest and forthright.No BS here! I have been taking my vehicles to him for 10 plus years. Can't go wrong. You know you've found a great one when you have to book in in advance. Having said that Peter has never failed to accommodate in an emergency. Ignore the other review.

Amazing service here!! If you own a VW and your not coming to see Peter for any issues, your doing it wrong. I was trying to get an alignment done and was told by multiple mechanics my adjustment points were seized and the control arms needed to be replaced. I took the car to Guelph Imports after asking a few friends where to go for help and Peter was able to get the adjustment points loose and the alignment done in a day!! He really cares about his customers and wants the best for them. Definitely will be returning

I took my X5 to this shop based on recommendations in a local FB group and I am so grateful that I did that. Since my car is out of warranty, I took my car to a local garage in Southend (before going to GIS) for seasonal tire swap. As part of inspection the technician reported a tear in the rear CV axle boot and mentioned that the lubrication on the axle has dried out as it was leaking through the tear and I will need to change the entire axle along with the boot. I got a quote of $2500 for OEM parts. I started looking for a place for a second opinion and took my car to Guelph Import Services. Peter was kind enough to accommodate my request on a short notice. Upon inspection, it was just a missing clamp on the boot and there was no tear. He put a new clamp and some additional lubricants and the charge was $100. So that's the service you get from Peter; honest and trustworthy. He will only recommend a job that is required.

Went by when he was very busy but they still checked out my Eurovan quickly and was able to diagnose and fix a small issue on the spot without an appointment. Will definetly go back here.

Great Service! Peter and his team at Guelph Import Service were the second garage to service my C350. The first one was the dealership for what should have been an inexpensive oil change. It wasn't. Peter did my next oil change with the same premium oil for significantly less. He has been providing regular quality maintenance on my car ever since. If you want the correct parts and the work done with out cutting corners I would recommend Guelph Import Service.

He took my eurovan for a ride even though he was busy and assured me everything was fine. Didn't want my money. Great guy , he really cared
