Efficient Wood & Gas

These folks installed a new Enviro s50 for me today. The guys were amazing, knowledgeable, efficient and not in a rush. They took time to explain everything and were even able to spot and fix a few small issues that were here before them. Thanks Joe and Johnathan!

We had been looking around to have two propane fireplaces installed into our cottage that we were renovating. After doing our research, we are so happy that we chose Efficient Wood & Gas. Everyone has been great to work with. Joe and Johnathan provided us great advice on what would best meet our needs and keep within our budget. They followed up the advice with exceptional work installing our fireplaces. Mary and Gudrun in the office kept us informed and up to date on when our orders would be in. We have even now gone back to them now and they are installing a wood burning fireplace in our Muskoka Room. They also referred us to other local contractors that have done great work for us. We highly recommend this team.

Jonathan and Joe installed our Alderlea T5 wood stove. It was a complicated chimney install (steel roof and multi angle), but the guys were 100% confident and professional. They did a great job, the stove and chimney are beautiful. They are great guys to work with and they even watched our dogs all day and let them into the house when they were done the job and we weren't home.Mary and the staff at EWG are helpful and this might not always apply, but our final price was less than the quote!

We had a small leak periodically during heavy rains. Had them inspect our 30+ year old chimney and woodstove we originally purchased and installed by them. They were able to simply repair the leak but found perforations in the metal chimney. They suspected water within the double wall and insulation of the pipe. Arranged to have the chimney replaced and woodstove refurbished They were correct and the weight on our roof was concerning. The old sections of pipe were saturated and extremely heavy. Best decision we made. Can't say enough how Professional and Knowledgeable the fellows were. Excellent job and cleaned up after the work was completed! Highly recommend them!

We are very happy with our new cottage wood stove. The service from EWG was excellent from start to finish. All the staff members were knowledgeable and professional. The installation went smoothly and Joe and Jonathan were highly skilled and a pleasure to work with.

We had a problem with our Napoleon BBQ. Joe just happened to be in the store. He came out later that day and cleaned the BBQ and got it up and running smoothly. Fantastic service and pleasant company!
