DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse

Shoes are great. However I've been standing in line to check out for 35 mins. There's 1 family ahead of me and 3 tellers. Only 1 teller is helping customers. The other 2 are taping boxes. Low stars for service only

Good prices comparitivly. Stock was low for sizes due to pandemic.Staff was amazing. Pauline was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. She made our experience in the store a positive one. She was great with helping my son find the style and right size of shoe. We appreciate her hard work and will be back.

Lots and lots and lots and lots of shoes, well stocked with lots of shoes. It’s clean and well lit and easy to get around in. It’s not cluttered. Lots of brand name shoes and sneakers. The prices are reasonable and if you go to the back of the store there is the clearance section that has great prices. The staff is friendly and helpful. I have come to DSW lots and have always enjoyed the experience and will come again.

Overview:LARGE selection. I was actually amazed with how big this specific location was.Staff:Staff were there but had to be approached. We weren’t greeted and I don’t think I saw anyone else greeted.Cleanliness/moderness:Clean and organized but the unfinished flooring is one thing I’m not a fan of.Would I go back?I wouldn’t go out of my way but yes it’s a decent store.

Worst customer service experience ever, manager on duty called me a liar, gave me attitude, and no hint if professionalism. Top it off this is how she was training her employees!!!! I would never shop at this place again. Head office needs to better train management of there stores on better customer service.

The most unprofessional attitude and lack support I have ever seen.Was in the process of purchasing 3 pairs of shoes.  I realized one pair for  some reason had extra short shoe laces. In fact so short it was impossible to even hope to tie the laces. At check out mentioned it and was very plainly advised sorry nothing we can do. She said you can purchase a longer set of laces for $4 but we can't do anything about the short laces in the shoes.  Talked with so called Manger who informed me that's  store policy set by head office and she can't help. Suggested just purchase longer laces they are only $4So they chose to lose the sale instead of doing what was right, rather then find a solution to the wrong laces in the shoes. So not only did they lose the sale but also lost a customer.

A huge selection of shoes for the whole family. This location also carries kids shoes. They also carry a seletion of Premium Designer Shoes. The other locations in Edmonton only carry Mens and Womens. Look out for additional markdowns by looking for the colored sticker. There is so much to try on and buy.

Large shoe selection (mostly women’s and kids but the men’s had a good variety as well).I was able to try on a few pairs and find what I liked, and the staff was friendly and helpful, signed me up for an email newsletter and gave me $20 off my shoes right there.

The shoes and selection are quite good; deals are very reasonable.However, I was very put off by the service protocol. As part of the check out process the cashier asked for my telephone number— I said no. They asked again— I said no, more firmly. They asked a third time! I understand that often these rules are set by corporate headquarters but I would hope that the DSW staff would have the ability to adapt to customers’ needs.When someone says they are not interested in your savings program/data disclosure, please respect the “no” on the first try.
