Pretty disappointed. Likely won’t be returning.- Service. Friendly enough I guess. But on the slow side.- Food. VERY bland. Found I had to dip everything in the gravy to give it flavour. Fries had no salt and tasted like they had been cooked on old oil. The bun was a flavourless, stale old sponge.- Value. Price is comparable to Boston pizza or Original Joes, but the food is significantly better there. With a %15 tip, dinner for a family of 5 (3 kids 6 and under) was $81.- Washrooms. We went for dinner, and it seemed as though the washroom hadn’t yet been cleaned this day.I wouldn’t recommend.

I ordered online for pick up and ended up ordering and paying twice due to some website issues. I called the Shawville branch and Mr. Moe gladly canceled my 2nd order and gave me my refund. Really awesome customer service. On top of that, the chicken and ribs meal was delicious. We will definitely be back and dine in next time.

We have always enjoyed dining at this Swiss Chalet restaurant at 265 Shawville Blvd S E location in Calgary. The food and staff are always amazing and yesterday June 6 we had takeout, the coconut cream pie was so worth it. We were served by both Moe and Gemma and they treated us with great friendliness and wonderful service. We strongly recommend this location and will be back often. Thanks Again

We were so impressed. We were seated quickly, drinks served and orders taken in record time. Food was served quickly and was hot. Servings were plentiful. We had the roast beef dinner and the 8 piece chicken wing meal. The beef was easy to eat and the gravy delicious. The wings were nicely battered and large. The only disappointment was the pie. For the price we were expecting much larger slices, but they were very good too. We will definitely eat at this location again. Great job by all there. Thank you

Ordered quarter chicken with garlic green beans. Received quarter chicken with completely under done market veggies. Went to use salt shaker...covered in sauce or ketchup.lots of gross fingerprints on table stand up menu...waitress was great...atmosphere needs a thorough cleaning.

We came in with a large group and Sarah our waitress was happy to help us through everything. Such a lovely experience. Props to Sarah. Good great, drinks great, everyone had fun. 5 stars and will be returning.

Fries are good, the small portion of chicken is really dry. Our server was friendly but no refill offered on a soda for $3.19. Table was set but it was dirty with little bugs on it so had to ask for it to be cleaned again. The 2 for $20 special is what brought us in

Chicken was dried out over cooked and old and small and wrong (dark instead of white), ribs were blah .fries were good but gravy was sooo salty. Worst meal I paid for since the frozen pizza in a Chinese restaurant years ago .

The food was just OK". Nothing to write home about. Small portions. There was so much nutmeg on the perogi it looked like dirt. They were unedible.The service was awful. We were seated right away. We waited for the server to acknowledge us. We ordered food and some drinks. We had to ask for water 3 times and a beer. The beer finally came when we were almost done with dinner."

The quality of their food & lack of any type of customer service is horrific! We ordered ahead of time yesterday, for 2 adult meals and 2 pieces of pie. I got there and realized that I had forgotten my debit card. The manager refused to send it out by delivery, and told me he would put it “off to the side”It took me 25 mins to drive back home and come back again for the pickup order. When I arrived our order was indeed off on the side, not even underneath a heat lamp. I said that to the person working and they only replaced the one fry order. When I got home our chicken was cold and baked potato (which wasn’t even cooked throughly) The pieces of chicken were extremely tiny. So NOT worth what we paid!!I was trying to overlook this experience until I looked at what was supposed to be our “ slices of pie” Needless to say it was one tiny piece of goopy mess! I will post a picture of this untouched pie from this store location. It will be a very long time, if ever I order from Swiss Chalet again.
