Our whole family is well taken care of at Twisted Banana! We’ve been going here for years because the atmosphere is so fun and we are always welcomed so warmly by the staff. Above all else, love visiting with Allie who is incredible at what she does and her hard work shows!

All of the staff is wonderful and welcoming. The atmosphere is edgy and a lot of fun!My review specifically is for SAM at STUDIO EIGHT TATTOO - she is WONDERFUL!!! I had an old piece that was very faded and never something that I truly loved and she completely reimagined it and made it into something so special and beautiful! She was knowledgeable, very clean and also a lot of fun to chat with. She had ideas for my tattoo that I wouldn’t have thought of and before she did anything she made sure to ask my opinion (which I would hope any artist would do) but I appreciated it.The other thing that I was very appreciative of was that she was respectful of my time and when many artists gouge you for every second that you’re in the shop, Sam did not charge me for “drawing time” since she did so much rework of my existing tattoo.I will definitely be back for more additions!!! Thank you Sam and Studio Eight!!!

Got my tattoo done by Sam and I was NOT disappointed. She listened closely to what I wanted and made sure the design was what I had in mind. For my tattoo it was important to me for parts of the tattoo to be as accurate as possible and she respected that. She compared her work to the feather I wanted copied multiple times to make sure the colours were right.I would definitely recommend anyone looking to get a tattoo to check her out

I couldn’t be happier with my hair !! I always come to see Sam , she does an incredible job with my hair every visit. She takes her time , & puts all her effort into each hairstyle. I am always left feeling beautiful, & excited to rebook in the coming months. The atmosphere at this salon is also so cool, very upbeat & I enjoy the conversation too !

I researched extensively for a stylist who was good at precision cuts. I found Sarah at Twisted Banana and couldn't be happier with my stacked bob. I have not had a cut this good since living in London and Scotland, 15 years ago. Sarah listened to what I wanted and delivered, she emanates experience, warmth, calm and kindness. It didn't take long for me to feel relaxed and trust her. I hadn't been to this salon for years and remembered it as a high energy dark interior and loud. I was really pleased to see that the interior layout had changed and it's now so light & bright. Team members are welcoming and the salon has a really calm and friendly vibe. The team members look relaxed, happy and smile a lot. It's no surprise to me that Twisted Banana is listed as one of the top 3 salons in Sherwood Park. I highly recommend Sarah for precision cuts, and this salon for a positive environment and extremely reasonable pricing for the quality of service received.

I have always loved this place, however this time I had a new stylist. Rae did an amazing job. I left there looking like a better version of myself instead of a straight-haired stranger!

I had my first experience at Twisted Banana with Sammy. I loved every minute of it. She did a stellar job with the color and cut. Everyone there is amazing and the atmosphere is positive and fun. I'll definitely keep coming back.

Although the stylists here are talented on more than one occasion my prefered stylist has canceled my appointment or passed me off to another stylist. I find this to be unprofessional and inconvenient. So I will not be returning.

Sitting at the flying j doing nothing waiting on a load . Notice that there was hair cutter just minutes away . Made an appointment got booked with Chantelle . She did an amazing job with the hair cut and the most awesome job with my beard . Basically I went from grizzly mountain man to human again lol . . Twisted banana is the best .
