My daughter sang with YVT for 9 years and enjoyed every minute. As a parent I saw the positive impact singing had on her self-esteem and confidence. She made friends that she will have for her lifetime! YVT staff and family are a fantastic group and we don’t stop recommending them to everyone with kids in Toronto!

I can’t say enough about home much my child loves signing in this choir. I am always so impressed by how professional these young singers sound at their concerts. I also love how inclusive the community is and the friendships that are formed while making music.

This wonderful organization has been my daughter's choral home for the past 7 years. The learning, the camaraderie, the musicianship, and the opportunities for performance, leadership and growth have all been fantastic. If you have a young singer in your life, I strongly suggest they check it out!

Singing with YVT has brought so much joy to our family. They have learned so much about music, built great friendships, sang in unbelievable places (like St. Thomas Church in Leipzig!) with unbelievable people (like Basilio Astulez and Jim Papoulis!), and discovered so much about themselves. Amazing artistic leadership and dedicated volunteers are what make this choir a unique music community.

Our daughter has had a wonderful experience with this choir. She’s had opportunities to perform, co-create a song, develop musically and make friends. The leadership and role modelling shown by the older choristers makes this an exceptionally special organization.

My daughter has been a chorister at Young Voices Toronto (YVT) since she was five. She is now a senior chorister in this amazing organization. She loves to sing and enjoys singing with all her friends at YVT. As a member of YVT, she has established longtime friendships. YVT has been a great place for nurturing her love of vocal music. I would highly recommend it!!!

Incredible set of individuals, from the GM to the instructors and student instructors. I can't rave about them enough, amazing curriculum, teaching methodologies and structure, even as young as my 4 year old. I'm blown away by how well my son is doing and how much he looks forward to his YVT classes. 11/10!!!

Great choir and community. My daughter's have loved learning to sing in a choir and creating music in a high-performing ensemble. Their choir trip to Germany and Austria was incredibly memorable -- amazing performances in unforgettable places like the church where J. S. Bach was organist. Lots of music that has brought tears to my eyes, and that I will never forget.
