My mother has lived at the Wellesley for several years and her experience has been wonderful. The staff is unfailingly kind and professional, the activities are fun and stimulating, and the food is really good too! I feel comfortable knowing that she is surrounded by kind people who are looking out for her.

Due to Quebec ice storm we did not have electricity for 39 hours.The staff & management were exceptional ,all working overtime to make sure we were safe & happy. They still served hot meals,serving hot beverages & checking on an individual bases to see that everyone was ok. They even had a Easter egg hunt to help keep as occupied It’s a wonderful place to live.

On behalf of my mother, Lucy M: The staff at Le Wellesley was wonderful and looked after us well during the recent blackout. They were helpful, encouraging and put themselves out for the residents. It was a stressful time, and they did everything they could to make us feel secure and cared for. They couldn't have done better.

I had the opportunity to visit the Wellesley as a visitor and was I ever impressed! The residents are thriving! I chatted with a lady at the front desk and she spoke of the residents with respect and told us that she was working in THEIR home, not that they were living where she worked. The chef made everyone cookies for the tea time, which were delicious. The decor was warm and filled with antiques and thoughtfully arranged. I got such a good feeling of the residence just from this small visit.

MY SISTER ENJOYED HER STAY AT THE WELLESLEY IMMENSELY.IT IS WELL RUN AND THE STAFF ARE ALL SO FRIENDLY AND ALWAYS ADDRESS YOU BY NAME. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND IT FOR ANYONE.

Been here just over 2 years & love the place…… the administrators, all personnel, and the residents are the friendliest people this side of Montreal. It doesn’t matter what aspect - staff, residents, kitchen staff, medical personnel, dining room staff, caretakers, entertainment, food, everything is wonderful. The Wellesley is a wonderful facility where anyone can enjoy his/her retirement years and have something interesting to do almost every day and evening. What more could anyone ask for? I am one happy camper (no need for a tent).
