Michael is a very talented tattoo artist. He listens to what you want and creates beautiful pieces. He is a delight to talk with and makes you feel at ease and comfortable while he does his magic. That's my lion he did for me. I love it and it healed perfectly. I will be booking with him again very soon!!

Captain Keven (he asked me to call him that) did my tattoo. He did an awesome job so far! Can not wait to go back and get it finished. This is a very friendly environment, I'd recommend this over any other tattoo place in town for first tattoos. Their jovial nature and unorthodox stances on Jean shorts make this a place I'll keep coming back to.

Had a sitting with Micheal and it was amazing. The consult was awesome, he was wonderful to work with and the art is fabulous. Day of, he worked with me to make sure it would turn out ideally, hooked me up with candy to keep my blood sugars up and touched base constantly to make sure I was okay and things were going the way I wanted. We got it done in one big long sitting; definitely sore but it was so worth it. The other dudes at the shop were great to hang out with too and I'm sure their work is just as pristine. Clean, safe, professional space. Pinball machines, TVs to stream on (I got through most of the Witcher series), and some pop culture features. With my own gaming background, these guys made me feel super welcome.Awesome talent, atmosphere and service! 10/5.

Michael is an amazing artist! Trenton and Kevin are great too! I love the nerdy atmosphere! I always feel incredibly comfortable and welcomed when I go for some new ink!

My friends from out of town and I decided we wanted to get tattoos but were initially unable to find anyone to take 4 walkins, especially on a Saturday. We tried Level Up as we all have a pretty nerdy background and they were able to squeeze us in with Ben. Amazing lineart, lots of enthusiasm when we discussed what we wanted (cartoon animals with knives held to scars to empower ourselves), amazing atmosphere (I’ve never been to a tattoo shop that has so much natural lighting!), friendly staff. Highly recommend going here if it’s your first (or even consecutive) tattoo as they are upfront about everything and great conversationalists. Definitely going back for future pieces!

Getting a half sleeve done by Michael, and it’s looking great. He’s helped me piece together exactly what I want and has nailed every detail. The shop is really chill and all the artists are awesome. This is where I will be going for any work I want done in the future.

I called today after a bad experience with my main tattoo shop, Bryan had me in as soon as I could get there from across the city. We spent probably 40 minutes making sure I was good with the size, and placement and he let me know of any risks with such a detailed piece in a small size and I felt very informed and comfortable in the shop with him as well as the other artists. The tattoo itself was super fast took only about 50 minutes and turned out so much better than I could have ever imagined and throughout the whole time he continuously checked on me and made sure I was comfortable and explained what he was doing. I will be going back and Level up will be the place I get my future tattoos.

Mike did such an incredible job covering up an old but still very black tattoo, and turned it from something I was ashamed of into a masterpiece that Im proud showing people. The guys and whole atmosphere of LevelUp are so positive and enjoyable that I've had to book more sessions, their vibe is worth the pain!

I did a quick walk in and they were more than happy to help me, I have had many tattoos before this one but no words can explain how much I’m in love with this tattoo! The detail and care that was put into my tattoo is amazing! I’m so in love with it!! Michael is amazing!! I would recommend anyone go to this shop to get a tattoo! The staff were joking around and chatting and making me feel comfortable! Thanks so much Michael for doing my amazing tattoo and Trent for having a great sense of humour and making my tattooing experience that much better! Will absolutly be going back here to get more work done!

If you are looking to get any type of character tattoo Michael is the very best. He takes the time to make sure you love it and then makes his art come alive. This piece started as a cover up and turned into something I am so very proud of. Every artist in here is fun and easy to get along with. Trust me, I have spent a lot of time here!
