Was recommended this place when visiting a friend on the island and after checking out the menu decided to give it a shot!!I’m allergic to beef so unfortunately I’m not often able to have poutine as it’s almost always a beef base. They have a vegetarian and gluten free option which was delicious and meant I finally got to have poutine!!We split the small Korean friend chicken one and it was delicious and more than enough food for my boyfriend and I!! We’ll definitely be back on future visits!!

My first review of Takeout Near You was not a good one. There was a problem with saltiness. These people made sure they dealt with this; it was a one-time thing. They also made sure we feel better about it, and good news! We do. We just finished a dinner sampler... whoah! That was the best burger I have had in years. The Korean style chicken is full of spicy flavor but not too hot. Putine is rich, but not to fatty. And the pizza is loaded on a substantial crust with good dough. We had a great feast. Thanks for a great alternative on Denman! We will be showing up often.

Just stopped here on the way home from hornby island and wow what a spot. Unbelievable food and even better service. All around amazing spot with great food.

Easily the best chicken burger I have ever eaten, and I'm a cook so I know what I'm talking about! Delicious sauce on the Korean style chicken, salty and sweet, perfect combo! I'm sad that we were just on a one day trip on Denman Island and can't get more in a long time...

Food is amazing. Service I great friendly kind respectful. My only 2 complaints are that there closed on Tuesday’s and the new hours suck why is it now 2pm opening should be noon latest. Other then that absolutely amazing otherwise.

Great food prepared by neighbours. The kids LOVE their burgers and I can't get enough of the Korean chicken. Whether sandwich or poutine, that spicy Korean Chicken is awesome. Pizza was great when we had it as well. Glad one of the only nighttime food places on Denman is so good.

This is a review based on fries and putines since thats all we could afford.iam being kind with the 4 star here more like a 2-3. I think its over priced for what it is, fries on boh occasions were over done, like really overdone.On fries alone Chuck wagon around the corner is much better. maybe we will try the burgers when we are feeling braver. Service is very fast so thumbs up and hopfully i dont get borderline burnt fries next time.

Ordered a couple pizzas, cheese and basil, and a bacon, meat pizza. The margarita(sp) was the best! The meat pizza was also very good. Order so crust is golden brown. Very yummy. It was just over $50 for two large pizzas
