The Opium Bar
Small bar with asian inspired menu, had good vibes and great snacks. I was snacking all night on their shrimp chips and takoyaki, just fantastic bar food! I tried a few drinks and only really liked the house signature drink, the opium.

Wanting a low key vibe, we stopped for some quick cocktails and a bite. Kitchen is open to 1am which is a huge plus. Cocktails were creative and delicious. Food was a little more hit and miss.

Absolutely amazing, worth every penny for this unique experience. I've gone there a few times, and every time I do, the inventive, wonderfully crafted, and wholly original cocktails blow my mind. The cocktail house had a welcoming atmosphere, with dim lighting and comfortable seating arrangements. The drinks at the cocktail house were expertly crafted, with a perfect balance of flavors and just the right amount of alcohol. The bartender was knowledgeable and friendly, taking the time to explain the ingredients and techniques used in each cocktail. The service at the cocktail house was excellent, and the server was a key part of making my evening memorable ( Especially Annie Chen, she was the best service I've ever met). The food served was also delicious and paired well with the drinks. The prices were reasonable, considering the quality of the drinks and the overall experience.Overall, the cocktail house was a great spot for a night out with friends or a romantic date, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality cocktail experience.

I could say this is like Big Trouble bar with diversity? Drinks were mediocre, ambiance was good. I can’t say much for the food as I haven’t tried it. The Opium bar is a decent option if you’re looking to kill time before getting into a waitlisted place..

Went with my friends a couple weeks ago. This place is really chill. If you are hanging out with friends and wanna grab a drink in dt, I definitely recommended!!Personally, I think their lychee cocktail is the best!!! Not too sweet, not too sour. I wish I could have more fresh lychee lmao. It’s the perfect drink!!! YOU MUST TRY! My boy ordered the melon cocktail and he loves it. The drink was inspired by the Korean Melona ice cream I believe. We were quite hungry when we got there last time so we tried all the food on their menu. I would say their handmade dumplings, the opium chickens are the must-try ones. Fries good too.Anywayyy, love the decorations, the vibes. I would definitely visit again mainly for the drinks!!!!Btw, the service is awesome!! Love you Cissy >3

The Opium Bar
A small, moody and cozy cocktail bar.A fun and quirky house cocktail menu that utilizes many Asian liquors, bitters and flavours. Their snack menu is perfect for grazing and lingering bites in between sips of beautifully crafted cocktails.I do feel that the cocktails are the highlight of this spot and the food is just a companion.A super chill spot for drinks!

The Opium Bar
Great low key bar with very friendly service, exceptional cocktails, and great drunk food. The Chinese hangover is probably one of the best drinks on the menu, but all of their signature cocktails are a hit- can’t go wrong with any.The food is surprisingly good and really pairs well with their drinks. The noodles are a must order- nice rice noodles with soy sauce, vinegar, chili oil, sesame oil- really hits the spot for late night munchies while drinking. The popcorn chicken is okay but nothing special unfortunately. The shrimp chips are a great order to nibble on with the drinks.Very friendly service, knowledgeable about the drinks. Small space but seats comfortably. Music is low enough volume to facilitate socializing. Will certainly recommend and will be back!

It’s a nice vibe, nice service, but food and drinks fall very flat. I had the cocktail named after the bar. At $20+ it was terrible, watered down, one note, overly sweet. And the food is nothing special. There are so many great izakayas in the neighbourhood, with these ratings I had high expectations. This is very far from the level of Hanmoto, gonzo, or imanishi, all within walking distance, and I would recommend all day. With those places around, I’ll never have a reason to come back to opium bar.

I really enjoyed the ambiance of this small and cozy bar. I ordered the MoMo cocktail which was really delicious and sweet. Only complaint is that the drink was filled with ice to the very top, so not really worth the $16. I ordered a few dishes from their small food menu. Shrimp Chips were delish, I could snack on these all night! Beef Dumplings and Noodles came out lukewarm and were just alright.
