I ordered the tortellini Alla Romanoff, and it was very bland. The sauce had no flavor, and the noodles were overcooked making them very soft and mushy.My favorite part about this restaurant, was the toasted buns and butter that are complimentary with the food.Parking is very weird, because there's a big lot in the back, but it's covered in dirt and has potholes everywhere.Overall the food was mediocre, but service was good and because we went for the Tuesday pasta special, it is what it is.I don't recommend coming and paying full price for mediocre pasta here.

We came here on pasta Tuesdays! $12 for any pasta is a great deal - it's hard to get any meal cheaper than $20, especially in a sit down restaurant. My family enjoyed the pasta - there was lots of choice and the noodles tasted pretty fresh. However, the curry noodles weren't that great. It mostly tasted like tumeric, and didn't have much other flavour. Our server was super attentive, despite it being very busy.

Me and my friend went yesterday on Pasta Friendsy and the middle section of the menu were 12 dollars. What a steal, love a good discount on pasta. They had so many options to choose from but I got the Penne Alla Gigi. It was delicious.

Met with a friend for lunch and he loves this place. I haven't been back in over 10 years so I was excited to for a much over due visit. It's a staple on Whyte Ave and I do always hear amazing things from good friends who eat here.There is limited free parking in the back, butbI just paid $3 to park on the street behind. Entrance is wheelchair accessible and there's also stairs to get into the restaurant.Once inside, it not only smells amazing but I also felt relaxed. Like walking into a good friend's house, so very welcoming.We were greeting almost immediately and seated right after. The crowd around us was a nice variety; ladies brunch, older couples having food and wine, families with three generations.We stuck with water but decided on three appetizers (bruschetta, clams and shrimp) and we split one of the entrée specials (salmon with dill sauce, spaghetti and grilled vegetables). He had the house salad while I had the minestrone soup. As always, they offer fresh bread and we both knew to only eat the one bun as we had more food showing up.As can be expected, everything was amazing! The added freshly ground Parmesan and black pepper is a must. I really do need to get back here again and soon as I'm craving it all again.

2nd time here and Chianti's met my expectations!! This time we brought another couple who were equally impressed!I had Fillet of Sole with Scallops and Shrimp, and the rich sauce was DELICIOUS!Our waiter lady was friendly with just the right amount of attention to our needs!!

Chianti is a long time favorite of mine.I like the atmosphere, it's cosy for such a big space.I like the food, it's hearty and delicious but it never leaves me feeling weighted down unless I really ignore common sense.I like the staff, always friendly and professional. Almost like they enjoy their jobs.Mondays and Tuesdays are pasta frenzy which increases the already solid value.Not to be missed are the buns, the Cesar salad, or anything for that matter, I've never been disappointed. Beware, however, the lasagne comes out as hot as the sun.Is it authentic? I can't say. It's damn tasty and that's good enough for me.

This is my favorite pasta place in Edmonton. It's not fancy but it's beautiful and has amazing food and drinks and they are very welcoming to everyone. Last year I had my 20th birthday there and I was dressed in my grad gown and they didn't make me feel weird or anything. It's an amazing place and has a great place!

Love the atmosphere! It was so nice and peaceful. The waiter was so sweet as well. We waited a bit for my partner’s drink though, and my pasta wasn’t super flavourful, but it was still an amazing experience and we were treated well even after coming in a bit late!
