My recent encounter with Auto Max left me with mixed feelings and a disappointing experience. Upon visiting the dealership to inquire about a car and trade in my old vehicle, I encountered both a standout salesman, Austin, and a regrettable encounter with an older, dishonest individual.Let's start with the positive aspect of my visit. Austin, one of the salesmen at Auto Max, deserves commendation for his excellent customer service skills. He was knowledgeable, professional, and attentive to my needs. Austin provided insightful information about the cars I was interested in and made a genuine effort to assist me throughout the process. His friendly demeanor and willingness to address my questions were truly appreciated.However, my experience took a downward turn when I encountered another individual, an older and heavier-set man, who unfortunately tainted my perception of Auto Max. During the appraisal of my old car, this gentleman displayed dishonesty regarding its condition. I became increasingly aware of his false claims and inconsistencies, which I promptly confronted him about. It was disheartening to witness his evident discomfort and stumbling over his words when challenged on his inaccurate statements. This experience left me questioning the integrity of the dealership as a whole.While I cannot let this single negative encounter overshadow Austin's exceptional service, it is crucial for Auto Max to address the issue of dishonesty within their team. Customers place their trust in car dealerships, expecting honest assessments and fair evaluations. It is disconcerting to encounter such behavior, as it undermines the credibility of the dealership and raises concerns about future interactions with other staff members.My overall experiences at Auto Max have been disappointing. The exceptional service provided by Austin was overshadowed by the dishonesty displayed by another staff member during the appraisal of my old car. Recently one of my techs had an accident with one of my Caravan. I spent a day looking at vehicles throughout the GTA, everyone who I spoke to informed me their vans were mint, regretfully every van was a disappointment. At the end of my day searching I came across the add from Auto Max, the owner described the van as it just arrived and informed me that it was mint, sent me photos. I made the deal and picked up on a Saturday. These people are classy, genuine, professional, personable, and mist important honest. The van when I picked it up exceeded my expectations!!!
