We have worked with this company several times in the past -- building, remodelling, custom carpentry, drainage -- and have recommended them to friends and clients so many times. Melissa and Charlie are both easy, open and transparent to work with, and we have been so happy with the quality of work. Their particular expertise in energy efficient and green building is extremely valuable, we were able to improve our older home's energuide rating significantly with their help, and their recent projects in new construction and passive home design are setting a path for the future. Recommended!

Working with Melissa at Sol Sustainable was great. This was our first experience doing a home renovation and she walked us through the process with ease. We were very happy with the final product!

Failed to build to code and then skipped out on remediation, went way over budget by over 60% and never informed us of any overages till the end then demanded payment or threatened liens for non payment, they took all funds we paid and kept the money for themselves and did not pay several subcontractors and caused liens to acrue on our property. Below they claim they warned about a 15% contingency but not 60%. Absolute disaster! I can't believe this happened to us.

As a designer I've collaborated with Melissa and Charlie on several projects over the years, from new builds to major renovations. They are an excellent team. Top notch project management down to the last detail and personable to work with. They always go the extra mile for their clients and really care about their work. Would highly recommend!

Charlie and Melissa have done more than 3 project for us over a 10 year span. During COVId was our biggest one to date. We love their professionalism, workmanship and best of all they are so easy to work with. Hands down I would choose them again. Each project we completed has been admired but many and I can easily feel confident to recommend them. They definatley have great design ideas and always add that extra element to make each project stand out.

Sol sustainable did my kitchen renovation. From the first consultation to the completion of the work, they were professional. My kitchen is beautiful.
