We have lived in the building from the first day of opening renting to tenants. We have enjoyed living here. Our site manager Elizabeth is great! She is so easy to speak with and we appreciate how genuinely she cares about any issues within our suite. It's reassuring to know and feel welcomed where you live. Steve, who takes care of our maintenance is also great! He gets the work done in a timely manner and is very knowledgeable. And of course I feel it's important to point out the great work all the other staff do to keep our buildings and grounds clean and safe. Thank-you to you all!

We lived in Portview landing for two years and were really happy with the attendance to cleaning in the common areas and how quickly any maintenance issues were addressed. Elizabeth, the site manager, was extremely helpful with anything that we needed. She was a joy to chat with and had a wonderful sense of humour. Thank you for everything. Claire and Mike Scott

I love living here. I have only been here a month, but Elizabeth- (the manager? I don't know her title)- was wonderful right from the start. I haven't lived in an apartment for over 25 yrs, but she made me feel welcomed and supported. I also appreciate how hard she works! She is a total asset. I will say I don't think she puts up with nonsense :) And that is ok with me. :) Having security features is very welcomed, I feel 100 safe and love I can have a pet.

I lived at PORTVIEW Landing - Broadstreet Properties for 2 years. The apartment is spacious, very clean, and more importantly, accepts pets. Our small dog met many dog friends and thoroughly enjoyed every walk. They provide receptables and bags for poop pickup, situated at several areas. There is a dog station for bathing your pet. Large grassy areas and a dog fenced area available. Our apartment has many appliances, well maintained and 24/7 client service. Their is a good sized washing machine and dryer. We moved for family reasons and are renting at another Broadstreet Property and are very happy with our move. The only issue are the poor soundproofing in the ceiling. Side to side, there is no problem.Diane

The company is very proactive about snow removal, arranging maintenance and it's not badly priced for what you get, plus they allow pets. Disgusted to see the messages and bullying behaviours against Elizabeth, she's a lovely PM who is efficient at her job and certainly doesn't deserve the garbage reviews I'm seeing here.

Elizabeth the site manager was super friendly, courteous, professional and went above and beyond her duties to make sure my family had a pleasant living experience with Broadstreet Properties in Port Alberni. The cleaning and maintenance teams were also friendly and professional! The unit we rented was very clean and had no major issues with the appliances.

I have resided with broadstreet for the past four years, I have had a great experience until ….. Just this past year they hired new management and her name is Elizabeth. My home just does NOT feel like a home anymore, I look forward to the weekends where I won’t see her marching around with her bully face . Multiple tenants have felt harassed and bullied . She uses the fact that there is no housing in Port to her advantage. Everyone was so happy and at peace over the holidays when she wasn’t aroundconstant notices on your door, being falsely accused, being called names like a liar, tenants not wanting to leave theirs homes, feeling harassed, disliked and unwelcomed, i’m surprised she doesn’t stay till 10 PM to tell us when it’s quiet time ! Im living In a very expensive institution . Stay out of port if you have to live here ! You will regret it immensely.

I lived in this building for a whole year and absolutely loved it! The affordable rent and the fact that it was pet friendly is what drew me in!Now a year later, the new property manager in training is making quite a few tenants life miserable. Just from my own personal experience, this woman has followed me around the property all the way to my apartment, has left more than three notices on my door in two months, two of those being in the same day, and has tried to intimidate me via email and in person. Now I know of personally to tenants who have been here since the beginning who are being forced to leave because of this woman. I have contact the rental company various times, tried to get the regional manager to email me and call me, with no response. It is a very nice building, and it is a shame that this company will let it go down because of this woman. They were going to lose a considerable amount of business as well as valuable tenants because of her. As a government worker and being a very reliable tenant , I would expect to be shown a bit of respect and not treated like a delinquent, especially as a single person with before her working there zero complaints.
