Very helpful staff. This place is a wonder. Looking for rare book they may just have it. They also have some wonderful old photos (some tin type) and pictures (some MacAskill's?). No parking on site but nearby streets have free parking, some with tim restrictions. This place is a treasure.

This place is a GEM!!!!! In an era where fewer and fewer folks are actually reading paper books any more, it's truly wonderful to have such used book store establishments as this. The variety is INCREDIBLE, and the prices very reasonable... and the staff is FANTASTIC. 'nuff said.. if you haven't been to this surprising place, GO THERE NOW!!!

This has been my go to store ever since I started collecting books, I've dealt with book stores all across North America, and this one is my absolute favorite. Their knowledgeable, they're just a call away if I got a book question, their selection is excellent, and their prices are fair! I highly recommend!

I recently picked up a couple books from Schooner Books and I was happy that I decided to visit. While a small location, Schooner's space has been well optimized to fit plenty of books from a plethora of subjects without looking cluttered or making your feel cramped in a small space. The section I was looking into most was philosophy and, while not exhaustive, was extensive enough that I found two titles that I have been looking for. I will be visiting Schooner again!
