Very, very easy hike. Well maintained trails. Lovely little walk in the woods besides a burbling steam.

A cute secret" natural oasis known mainly by the neighbors with a small creek meandering through the woods of very tall trees."

These woods are a great little reprieve from the bustle of everyday life. The trails are great for a walk among the trees in any season, including the winter, and I often bring the family for a quick hike, or when I go for a run, this is usually the best part. A little creek runs through here (which can still get quite deep and fast after a heavy rainfall) and it's not uncommon to see ducks and other wildlife passing through. I've seen foxes and blue herons, among others. It's not huge, but it's big enough to feel like you're out of the city, and a great place to be in nature getting some fresh air.

I absolutely love these little woods. I've been going here for years and it somehow feels more secluded than it is. Being nestled in between several neighborhoods it feels like a little retreat. If you want to go on a quick walk or just need a place to chill out and catch a breath of fresh air monarch woods will do you wonders.

If you want a place to walk through forest on fall, I think this is the place. Close to the city but far to the noise, the better time to enjoy it is Sundays early in the morning, the better season, Fall (for sure).

Really nice trail, good for running or walking. There is a bit of a creek throughout and a small bridge as well. Some ducks in the water and right across from Lynnvalley Park. Small part of the trail has the backyards of some nice houses. Nice forested nature spot.

Scenery is gorgeous. Many photos and at times the trails are crowded. Some of the hills will most likely be slippery in the winter. No official parking lot either. Otherwise this is a great spot to go on a morning, afternoon, or evening hike! And it's has a convenient location!

I’m not from this neighbourhood, but it’s much quieter than any trail I’ve been to around North York - quite far from street and any city sounds, and not a lot of foot traffic. We walked our dogs at sunset, and they loved it as much as we did. The trail is very clean and well paved. You end up walking along a little river near the end of the trail. We didn’t see too much wildlife!
