Absolutely ridiculous. I emailed to a Kijiji ad from this company of a tank for sale. The ad said to email for more information so I sent a basic question, asking if it included a filter etc. The response I received was, and i quote, do you all that crap in the picture?" .... no wonder all they have is crap reviews

Six years ago, I bought a large custom aquarium from this company - made to spec - no problems at all. This year, I ordered another. This store was selling some aquariums online and I sent them an email to ask about the tanks. I was sent rude, offensive emails back containing profanity. If this is how they treat potential customers who ask only 1 question that was not included in the original information.... STEER CLEAR. They are very rude and terrible to communicate with. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else would be better than this place. I hope you take my advice and spend your hard earned money at another local business that deserves it.

This guy was really nice, he took in our tank to fix a cracked bottom and said he'd even fit it with thicker glass than was there originally! There's a lot of nice looking tanks in the place and some really pretty guppies that I'd been admiring and we even got to take a few of those home because he said he liked fellow hobbyists.Really nice guy, treated us well and quick turn around for the tank to be fixed at a really reasonable cost.

it so so so bad , i have to call 911 because the guy ( Mitch ) get agressive with me and start to hit my car open my car door and lay his ff hand on me , oh ya while am in my car talking to the 911 . and here is the story that lead to the 911, I order a sump a few week back , I have to take 3 day off because the guy said he will come to install the sump, (all that 3 day I wait at home and when I call his phone is off)so all of u thinking the sump is kinna done right , wrong!!!the day 3 is he last day he made me wait at home, ( I have to book day off work)I get so up set I go right to his work place and ask where is the sump, guess what the ffff guy say , there are no sump, I dint do it am so bussi !!!!! then I ask why the hell u said u will come and install it , and u made me book day off work to wait for ur ass , this story is so real the 911 have recorded of this . and I want my full refund , first he don't even want to have me a full refund ,( people never pay him money first ok , ) (u know what people , don't bother go there )!!!!!! I get up set I call 911 in his shop , he kick me out so I go to my car and talk to the 911 , than guess what he get up set he ran out and start to punch my car open my door and lay his hand on me , lucky am a guy I push him away and lock my door . DONT GO THERE !!!!!

I gave 1 star as I had to give one for the review. HE IS A SCAMMER AND WE NEVER SEEN THE TANK! I had to get my credit card person involved to get money back.

I ordered 2 tanks despite having a bad experience with a previous order. I figured I can give this guy another chance.I ordered the tanks and gave him a credit card for a deposit. We agreed on a price of $4620.00My card was charged well over $5000 dollars. I had to arrange for delivery 3 separate occasions because he had various excuses. Despite the fact that he told me the tanks were built 2 weeks before they were delivered, once I got them I was told not to fill them because the cross-bracing was just finished. At this point all my stock was crammed into one tank and I couldn't afford yet another delay.He also forgot the lids but said he would send them on Greyhound the next day. After waiting 2 days I filled the tank because my arowanas needed to move and I had to get the tanks re-plumbed and set up before going back to work. I set the tanks up with makeshift lids. 2 days later still no lids from Bow Valley. I called and asked for a tracking number but never got one. 1 1/2 weeks later my arowana managed to jump out of a small opening and was dead on the floor. Still no lids, I managed to get them made at a local glass shop in 2 hours. Had I been told he had no time to build them I would have done this in the first place. The only reason I bought the new tanks was to give the arowana a bigger tank. Now I stare at an empty tank that I paid $600 more for and I'm out $1800 on the arowana. He said he would credit my account but still has not done so and no effort made to compensate for my loss.

This has to be the worst run business in history! The idiot that runs it has no sense of customer service. I made the mistake of purchasing something from them before doing a search (Google bow valley aquariums and you will be astounded with what you find!) it took him over a month longer then he said it would take to build my tank and throughout the whole experience he was nothing but rude and shady as he would never be at the shop when promised and started dodging my phone calls. Once I finally got the product from him I got it home only to find out it leaks. When I took it up to a reputable glass company that actually has customer service they showed me that the tank was built with the wrong type of glass and that it was most likely taken from a recycling bin. Apparently Mitch has a reputation for this type of shady deal. Save yourself the aggravation and money and just get it done right from somebody that actually knows what they are doing and how to treat customers.

Found a ad on kijiji for a small tank and emailed. Got a extremely rude response back. Steer clear. I question how they are still in business
