Garibaldi Veterinary Hospital

I am a cat daddy, and I thought I was going to loose my old girl to pancreatitis last Fall. She was in the hospital for 3 days. The staff at Garibaldi were giving me daily updates. Dr Honey also recommended I switch my kitty’s food and she hasn’t had a flair up since. I am so very grateful! Thank you!

I did see lots of vet in my life but that Dr Honey is the worst by far. The only thing he care is money, does the job as quick as possible. That person has no heart and doesn’t care about our pets. I wont recommend that place.

Important note before you read this review.I usually don't post reviews, never at all.But this time I felt like sharing my thoughts and concerns on the Garibaldi Vet Hospital's philosophy and practices.I will not go in too much details, because I do respect the work and energy they put in (saving) or (healing) our pet friends, but for my fellow dog owners in Squamish, I do not recommend this vet clinic.They have an aggressive and sales oriented philosophy.For that reason, I always felt a bit awkward with Dr. Honey.You have an appointment with Dr. Honey? Rest assured that you will walk away from their clinic with another appointment scheduled for X-Y-Z reasons, and your discretion is not advised.They recently spammed me with 4 email in the past 2 weeks to remind me that my pet is past overdue her annual vaccine.After visiting the Sea To Sky Clinic (which I highly recommend), they told me my dog's vaccines are due in October.So you can imagine now for the rest of my experience with Garibaldi's. That is just the tip of the iceberg.I see a lot of other reviews mentioning dishonesty and no human connection with Dr Honey.I also experienced a ''we are behind schedule'' from the staff. Which led to ''leave your dog here, we wont charge you''. You can imagine what happened when I picked up my dog. Of course, they charged me for the examination. Trust me, I didn't pay for it but I had to fight.I am sorry for putting up a bad review, but I think it is essential to share honest thoughts and feedback to help dog owners in Squamish choose their Vet Hospital wisely.

Garibaldi Veterinary Hospital staff and Dr. Honey are so wonderful to our pets, including regular care, emergency care, operations and palliative care for our pets including two dogs and cats.

Our dog loves visiting Dr. Honey and staff! That says it all- He is well cared for and Dr. Honey spends time with us, and we know our dog is in expert hands. I can only highly recommend him as a vet, and his caring staff are friendly and welcoming.

Dr. Honey is a class act! The most professional and empathetic vet I've ever met. Always willing to answer as many questions that we have regarding our pet family member. He is very courteous and compassionate for all walks of life!

I brought my buck (male bunny) to see Dr.Honey and be neutered. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr.Honey spoke openly with me about what to expect for the surgery and reassured me in any way he could. It's a risky operation for any animal, but especially rabbits as they are so sensitive. I researched alot before I chose Dr.Honey for this and I'm so impressed with him! My bunny was VERY well cared for and I could tell that the doctor and staff all truly enjoyed their work and animals with how they spoke about their time with my bunny. It only took a couple days for my bunny to recover and start jumping around and playing again. I highly recommend bringing your rabbit or any other pet here to Dr.Honey!

I saw Dr. Honey, while visiting Squamish this summer, for my 18 month Lab (spay) and 17 year old cat (thyroid and renal issues). Received nothing but the best of veterinary care from Dr Honey and from his staff. I found Dr. Honey to be caring and knowledgeable, he always had my pets best interest at heart . As well, his staff were all very welcoming and helpful.
