Connie Jean's Barber Shop
After going to Hair Salons for many years, I went to Connie Jean's one day a year ago when my husband was getting a hair cut and I was totally pleased to hear that Connie cuts women's hair. She gives a beautiful cut which holds its shape as my hair grows out and her prices are very affordable. I also found out that I do not have a natural part in my hair after all these years. Her shop has a very pleasant atmosphere and she has a sweet personality. I no longer go anywhere else.

I was looking for a barbershop that still allows walk ins, that is staffed by barbers (not hair stylists in disguise), and that really understands clippers and men’s cuts. I tired Connie Jean’s on Hammond’s Plains Road and they have exceeded my expectations. A REAL BARBERSHOP, you can walk in, queue up, get a GREAT cut, and at a reasonable price. Her seniors cut starts at 55 so that was a bonus too! Barbers work hard to create LOYALTY and she has mine. If you’re looking for a great barbershop in Halifax, I’d recommend you give Connie Jean’s a try.

Maxine was very pleasant and gave me exactly what I wanted. Reasonable prices and they even have a loyalty card where you get 10 haircuts and get the next one free! They are my go to shop from now on.
