This is a conveniently located health conscience grocery store. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. It has a great cafe inside with wonderful snacks and beverages. I visit here very often.

I had an incredible experience at Evergreen today. It’s only my second time there (as I just moved to the area from the city) and I was greeted by all the staff in such a kind way and was treated really well.A big shoutout to Marnie who went above and beyond today. I thought that when I moved away from Vancouver a year ago, to live ruraly in the Slocan Valley, that I would be leaving behind the convenience of my favorite natural foods grocery store. Imagine my amazement and delight when I discovered everything I could ask for and more at Evergreen in the Slocan Valley. And to top it all off, the folks who work there are always kind and helpful. 10/10!

Great place for local organic produce, and groceries. They have an excellent little deli and coffee bar upstairs. Lots of diverse foods available, organic dairy and frozen goods. They have lots things available in bulk, flour, grains, seeds, apples, ECT... Good treat selection. Helpful and friendly staff!

Evergreen has an amazing selection of organic, local and delicious produce, a fabulous bulk section and super friendly, helpful staff. I love stopping by for local duck and chicken eggs and to check out their vast offerings of artisanal chocolate!

Very friendly staff. Some items are insanely expensive (I saw an item that was 25% more expensive than the same item in Safeway and Safeway is known to also be expensive). BUT there are things you can get here that you can't find anywhere else and sometimes they have really great deals.

This little place is the best! Local and we'll sourced, healthy food of all kinds. Always fresh and everything you need. Maybe I am biased because it's like a home away from home but I LOVE Evergreen Natural Foods.

Evergreen Natural Food Store is a great store. Lots of good stuff like there organic vegetables, ladys stuff like lipstick, cologne,etc. At reasonable prices, they have a coffee shop and cookies upstairs with beautiful servers. The washroom is clean and smells good, the staff are friendly

Evergreen Natural Foods carries similar products to The Kootenay Coop. They have slightly less variety, and overall their prices are roughly equal. I would definitely recommend this store, especially for people living West of Nelson. It is only about 5 minutes from where I live and I'm happy to have this healthy option close by.
