You can tell that Chrissy's passion is for rescuing dogs, and finding their furever home. Although she's not a big rescue she does what she needs to do. She's very dedicated to these pups and to her adopters. I have talked with her off and on for over a year. She knew I was waiting for my wedding and honeymoon so that I could devote my time with to a puppy. She always kept me in the loop of what was going on, and about a month or so ago we were finally ready! She asked what breed we were looking for, and we didn't have one in mind. My husband just wanted a big fluffy dog. She let me know she was rescuing from Texas and that she had one in mind for us. When the dogs finally came she made sure to get them acclamated first before she adopted them out, but she sent me pictures of the little girl she picked for us, and she really listened to what we were looking for to fit our family. We now have an almost 11 week old Australian Shepherd, heeler, and possibly great Pyrenees mix. She's a playful little girl with so much character. She is the cutest, softest, and sweetest little girl who made herself right at home. I can't thank Chrissy enough for answering all my messages so quickly! I know she has a busy schedule, but helping a dog find a home is her main priority and it shows. She sent me messages keeping me updated on the search and making sure she found the right one we are so grateful to her for finding our new member of the family!

So happy to have gotten our pup Ringo (Midnight) from Chrissy's K9 Kastle. He's was up to date on all vaccines & meds, and is such a good boy! Chrissy was very helpful throughout the entire process!

They are serious about adopting to appropriate people. They did a thorough check on me and a home visit. I was under no obligation to adopt the dog I applied for...but she was so darn cute and sweet I HAD to!! And my dog and the adopted pup get along well.. They prepared an adoption folder with everything I need to know about my new dog. I would recommend working with this rescue for sure!!

Chris works very hard to save death row dogs and puppies from all over the U.S. She ensures that each animal is fully vetted, healthy, happy and well socialized. She makes sure that the dogs go to loving homes by being diligent in the application process. I highly recommend Chrissy's K-9 Kastle!

We adopted Bella (formerly Annabelle). She is wonderful, and everything that Chrissy promised. They do honest work! I really like that they try to rescue dogs from kill shelters. In addition, Bella was up to date with all her vaccines and we got a copy of her medical history.

Worst experience I’ve ever had in adopting an animal. Was lied to over and over about the dog we adopted. I have two children and the dog wasn’t even supposed to go to a home with children. The dog became aggressive towards my daughter. When we contacted the shelter to return the animal, my wife and I were sworn at and yelled at by the owner. Very unprofessional and disrespectful. If they would’ve been truthful about the dog from the beginning, we never would’ve adopted her. Horrible experience.We treated our dog with love and patience, but she needed much more than that. We tried to tell this to the shelter, but the owner would not listen to us. Instead she resorted to screaming and swearing over us. She also started accusing us of abuse and maltreatment, which never happened. These people have no integrity and lie over and over again.

my boyfriend and i rescued our puppy from here, and we had an amazing experience. she was brought to our home, and instantly cuddled up by us. she had her own little ‘goodie bag’ with treats and a toy, alongside a folder with the information they had upon her. the lady who brought her to us was the sweetest, and we got along really well with her. she was rescued from texas, alongside her sisters. they were found in a box with a sign saying that their ‘owner’ would be back in a week and if they weren’t all gone, they would release them into the streets. her adoption fee was only $375, and we would’ve been more than happy to pay more, as the payment goes straight to rescuing more dogs!

In the process of adopting a 3rd dog from Christine, wouldn't go anywhere else if you're looking to add a new addition to your family. You won't find another rescue that cares as deeply for the animals as Christine's does. She cares for each new pup individually and gets to know each one on a personal level when bringing them home to her Kastle ❤

We just adopted our little Pepe, a 4 year old male chihuahua who is a wonderful addition to our family. Working with this rescue was wonderful and easy. Shelley was attentive, helpful and quick to respond. We would easily go through them again.

Shelly was timely in her response and easy to work with. At our home visit, she brought a packet of information, a toy, and some dog food to get started - all very much appreciated. The only thing I would change is that the website description said my now-adopted dog was housebroken. (He is 5 years old.) On reviewing the paperwork after our home visit, I noticed it said he is working on it." That would have been helpful to know up front - it is definitely taking some significant work. Overall
