One of the best non profit grass roots organizations out there. They love the people they take care of, and they advocate for better overall living for the common person, no matter where they are from or who they are. PHS fights for homlessess and for better safer drug supply and harm reduction.One of the greatest place i had the privilege and the honor to work for.

I love PHS! They care about people who are struggling with poverty and mental health and addictions! They go the extra miles to make a difference in people's lives!

They have many services and help out with many folks in the DTES

The owners thinks that this area is safe for youth who aren't street involved, as dumb as the people who put a elementary school right next to the park that has been used for drugs for 30+ years, so much that needle boxes have been installed

Phs community services are number one in helping the community with housing medical ;social needs this company takes the extra steps to accommodate the needs of the lower East side of Vancouver!

Been with phs for about 10 years. This office is great only think it could be scary for some people with the huge crowd on the corner before you come in. Other then that I really like the people and doctors that work there.

Unfortunately had a night mare experience with the small amount of communication I had with PHS. I applied for a job, got the screening call, got an interview scheduled, then received a second screening call after getting my interview which was already done weeks prior. My interview was canceled 2 hours before due to my lack of qualifications" later to find out the interviewer actually had a medical emergency procedure AND they LOST my application so booted me out rather then calling me to sort it out. It only got worse from here. I am so grateful I did not end up working for this incredibly unprofessional disorganized organization. Very disappointing to see this is the individuals these staff have supporting them through one of the most mentally and physically exerting jobs in the field."

If ya don't know about face-to-face, fundamental, support services on the DTES... This one is boss-player. Best values I've felt in the game. Most heart-touching connection. The struggle is real; be a change by your expressions of love and acceptance for anyone who is repeatedly left out, excluded, shamed. For instance: when I shave I get customer service; but with fuzzbeard I get followed by security. Now imagine no shaver, no shower, no love. Fight that
