Kgum Bo Restaurant
Small family run restaurant with a healthier take on Chinese food. Everything is fresh, not over salted or fried in too much oil. The chicken rice soup is amazing.Just a heads up the service will be a tad slow if they get a rush so if you're in a hurry and several tables are full you may want to skip this one. However if you have the time for good conversation and a touch of patience the food is worth it.

This is a reliable old greasy chopstick. Decent food, good prices, and all done in 80s Chinese decor. They even have a classic CRT TV!

There the service is fast and very polite the look of the restaurant is very nice the food is fantastic my partner and i order take out and eat in all the time. Very enjoyable

I lost my appetite when I entered the place . The decor is from the 80´s. Old stained carpets old chairs even the phone is 20 years old. The food was nothing special. You would think that the owners would put in 10k to make the place more appealing as its the only restaurant close to the beach and touristy area. Who knows whats going on the kitchen...

Would normally give 4 stars but I'm trying to raise the average as it should be higher. Food was cheap, good and fresh. Very fast, we were there for less than 30 minutes total, without desert. They offer takeout. The place looks older but it's not a big deal as it is still clean.

Taste was lacking the expected Chinese flavour Very BLA..Portions were just not enough for the money. Very skimpish.did approach management which turned out non sense in position..she said was our fault cause we asked for the pork balls instead of chicken balls.. the chicken balls are thick batter that would have filled us up.. or .. we should have order more.. we did order diner for 3 so we could take home what we didn't eat for the next day.. was barely enough for 2..a Generous 1 star.. will never return and will never recommend to anyone..

Had their 6.50 lunch special. 4 chicken balls, a vegetable spring roll, a scoop of fried rice. Taste is just passable. Portion is kind of small. I finished it in 10 minutes. Ate fried rice with a fork...

SKIP IT.Someone show them SALT. I had rice more dry than the Sahara desert. If you want water or are dehydrated, make sure to spend 12 dollars for a container of water with salt less boiled chicken. How do you mess up salt? A fast food chinese joint will hit the spot better than this restaurant". You will get a piece of chicken for every handful of veggies."

Customer service was atrocious during our visit. Only one other family when we arrived. Customer service is non existent. Asked for special. I wanted to substitute wonton soup for hot and sour and I'd pay for the difference if any. I can't stand wonton. They flat out refused. It was impossible so I had to buy an extra soup. In my opinion, the food was mediocre. I will never return nor recommend.

Great little Chinese Canadian spot. Ordered lunch combos for takeout and they were great for their price. Pretty standard fare and definitely meets that occasional craving for chicken balls and fried rice.
