This company was regrettably referred to us. They absolutely botched income tax filings. They were delinquent in returning calls and emails, blamed other staffers for not responding sooner, and ultimately made the filings to the CRA on our behalf excessively late, and with glaring errors. CRA reviewed the filing, and we went from their assessment of receiving a return, to owing excessively. As a result of them not filing in time, we amassed penalties and not surprisingly, received no offer of assistance or representation towards the matter from this company. When physically attending their office to recover our documents to bring to another accountant, they claimed not to have anything, even though we initially delivered our documents via courier, having received confirmation that our documents were in fact delivered in good order. This company has demonstrated gross negligence in matters of income tax filings.
