Fiona Macintyre Design Contemporary Jewellery

I highly recommend taking a jewellery silversmithing course from Fiona! She is friendly, professional and an excellent teacher. Her workshop is very well set up to run, small hands on, courses. She is knowledgeable and skilled in her jewellery making. Coffee, baked goodies, fruit and sandwiches were an added bonus that she offers for a 5 hour workshop. I definitely will be taking more courses from Fiona Macintyre! I am thrilled with my finished silver, cabochon pendant, made with mojave turquoise! Great work!!Had a necklace made for my wife by Fiona and she loves itWe were about to have our first child and wanted to get my wife something special.Fiona came up with a beautiful necklace with our son's birthstone and my wife loved it so much she had Fiona make me a pair of cufflinks with our sons thumbprint for my birthday.By far one of the most unique and special pieces I've ever seen. The quality of work is excellent and Fiona is extremely reliable and very accommodating! Highly recommended!

My sister's and I enjoyed a wonderful day learning the basics of silversmithing with Fiona in one of her workshops. She's a great teacher - patient, encouraging, skilled and fun! We might have to sign up for another session!

Cannot say enough excellent things about artist as teacher.As an amateur, long time crafter,always wanting to try silversmithing, the beginner courses she offers in her shop are just enough...no info overload. She also levels up if you want. I do not mind her prices, you make a piece of jewellery. This plain hammered band fits like a glove,as if its always been there.Thanks Fionna.

Fiona has skills !! and more importantly a wonderfully creative approach to design. She made my wedding ring, simple white gold, I love it. I didn't really know what I wanted but she took the information I gave her and created a ring with significance built into it - she designed it in a way that captured elements of my relationship. I have since seen many examples of her unique pieces that reflect an ability to find and express those special and super cool elements that may have eluded you but will pleasantly surprise you.

great shop, amazing custom worka while back i discovered fiona macintyre designs. fiona is a silver smith who also creates jewelry. back then she worked at studios in and around toronto.Fiona has recently opened a shop in merrickville. she has some unique designs on display for sale. definitely worth stopping by.i have bought a new number of her pieces over the years. so when it came time for my wedding i asked fiona to design something.i didn't really have any ideas of what i wanted so fiona drew several designs for me. i really liked all the designs and it was hard to choose just one. after asking me several questions we picked a design for me that is funky and different but very easy to wear day to day. the process was very fun and easy.now i have an amazing wedding ring that i get compliments on all the time. she added some cool figures including my husband's birthstones on the ring. i have included pictures here.i would highly recommend fiona and her work.
