I cannot say enough amazing things about The White Peony. Throughout every single step of my experience Trish went above and beyond for me. Her communication and responses to my many questions were very timely, detailed, and most importantly warm. Being a bride from out of town meant unexpected challenges, specifically tailoring, all in which Trish handled with ease. She recommended and arranged my tailoring appointments for me, then even brought my dress and veil to the seamstress on my behalf ahead of time (because The White Peony was closed the only day I could come into town), so all I had to do was show up at the tailor! I felt so welcome and comfortable in the shop, and all my interactions with the staff have been so extremely positive. Trish remembered so many little details and I feel like such a valued customer. I couldn’t have imagined a better wedding dress experience and overall it was without a doubt one of the best interactions I’ve had with a vendor throughout my whole wedding planning process.

My mom and I had the best experience at the White Peony! I had no idea what my wedding dress style was and I was nervous about finding the right dress, the entire team was so thoughtful, really listened, and spent a lot of time helping me find my perfect dress! I cannot say enough good things about the entire experience from picking the dress, buying accessories, and organizing alterations, I knew I was in amazing hands with the White Peony team!The store is stunning, has a great selection of dresses in many sizes, and is a truly wonderful and comfortable place to shop!!I cannot recommend going here enough!

I have so much love for this bridal shop! I had previously gone shopping to a few other bridal boutiques in Victoria and The White Peony really stands out! Not only is the boutique stunning but the selection of gowns in beautifully and thoughtfully curated, catered for brides looking for gowns that are both modern and timeless. Trish really look the time to understand my bridal vision but also encouraged me to slow down and enjoy the process of trying dresses on, in a variety of styles and silhouettes. She made the whole experience for my mom and I an unforgettable day. I found my dress when I knew I didn't want to take it off. She asked if I saw myself marrying my husband in it... and it was in that moment that I knew I'd found my gown. Even after I had purchased my dress, they were so helpful - recommending vendors, helping with alterations, and even sneaking me in last minute to find a veil. It was such a privilege to have found my dress here! Without a doubt, brides to be should make an appointment at The White Peony.

I had a wonderful experience with The White Peony! From the first time I walked into this beautiful shop it was truly an experience. The shop is stunning, and I found that the number of dresses was perfect - they were beautifully displayed without being crowded together, and there weren't so many that I felt overwhelmed. It sounds like a small detail but when you are trying on wedding dresses, it's easy to get overwhelmed and exhausted with too many options! Each dress at The White Peony is treated and displayed like a piece of art. I loved how there were many local BC designer dresses available to try on, and lots of unique, modern designs.At my first appointment, Trish took her time with me and I truly felt like a queen! She was so accommodating and was very knowledgeable about each dress and designer. The experience of trying dresses in this beautiful shop was second to none. I was pretty confident I knew which dress I wanted but I went to a few other shops just to be sure. I ultimately came back to The White Peony because they carried my favourite dress, but also the service and experience was just outstanding. My experience purchasing the dress was very smooth and Trish truly goes above and beyond to make you feel beautiful and confident! I highly recommend this shop!

This was my first stop in my dress journey and what what a great way to pop my cherry. The store was intimate and charming and my consultant was lovely. There was no pressure to buy, instead I was encouraged to explore at my pace and take the time I need to choose a dress that's right for me. I would encourage you to make them a stop in your journey too.

I had the most amazing experience with Trish and The White Peony. After countless appointments and questions, all of which Trish handled with care and expertise, I finally picked my dress yesterday! The shop is beautiful, clean, the dresses are not crowded and in great condition. The knowledge Trish had for all the designers and dresses made it very easy to trust such a large part of my wedding with her. I can't say enough about this shop, and most definitely would recommend to any bride! Thank you again Trish, I can't wait to pick up my dress in the Fall :)

The staff at the White Peony were so supportive and encouraging during my search for the right wedding dress. Trish was absolutely lovely and very accommodating when I wasn’t sure what I wanted! I really appreciated their support after getting the dress as well to make sure everything was perfect leading up to the big day. Can’t wait to get married in my dress!

I had an appointment in December and it was my most memorable bridal shop experience (of many). While I didn’t find “the” dress, I fell in love with the local designer Truvelle, and found a dress from them on Marketplace. Trish was incredibly attentive and accommodating. You will literally feel like royalty in this shop!

Such a great shop! We went here for my first round of dress shopping and I’m so glad, the staff were so nice and helpful and they made sure the experience was fun and not at all overwhelming.They have such a nice collection of dresses too! I’m still trying to decide but I loved what they had here! Everything was of really great quality and not crazy expensive either!
