Express Aluminum Railing Ltd

We recently built a new deck and hired Mohammed to install the railings and glass. We had reached out to other companies and it was such a struggle to get a response/and or a quote. Mohammed responded quickly, showed up at the arranged time, gave us some great suggestions for design and followed through with the actual installation happening on the actual date we were given! The finished product was even more than we had hoped for! I would highly recommend this company and we will use his services again in the future for other projects.

Bad experience with them on July 07, 2023. They don't care about how they behave.

Mohammad had done work for us ( back deck) about 5 years ago. We were very pleased with his work and rehired him last week to do our front deck. Again, impeccable work...good work ethic . We are very pleased with the front railing. Will not think twice about hiring him again...good job

I had my deck redone this summer. I went from painted railings (which I never have to paint again :) to tempered glass with white railings. I love it, it opens up my view and looks so clean. Mohammed was very quick to come by and give me my quote. Once I decided I was ready to go ahead with the job, he came back to re-measure everything and within a week my railings were installed. The job was done clean and efficient. I would definitely use Express Aluminum again and would not hesitate to recommend Mohammed to friends and family.

Paid top dollar for railings with poor welding. Apparently the reason for the poor welding is the bad power in the industrial area where they were manufactured. So, if you want clean welds on your railing, find a shop with a better connection to BC Hydro. Railings were installed unevenly (one section of the railing was 1/2 of an inch higher than the rest), so they need adjusting and yet more holes drilled into my deck and house. The gate didn't mesh with the railing so a spacer had to put in so that it would close properly and wouldn't damage the paint. Garbage from the installation was left on my property. Rubber seats for the glass weren't seated properly and I had to go around and seat them myself as they were bulging out and didn't look good. At one railing end, the bracket didn't line up with the wall very well at all so the screws had to go in on an angle through the holes (not a big deal as it was in an out of sight area, but still not the quality I was expecting for the price). Overall, the product was just okay. My wife gave it a three star rating and I went with a two star rating because the welding would have got me a fail in Grade 12. Since I wrote this review, I went with my rating. Average would be a 2.5 between the two of us.

I was referred to express aluminum railings by a relative who had a awning installed by this company. They advised me that the service they received was excellent and the quality of work was exceptional.I called the owner of the company and within a day although he had told me they were very busy he had come out and measured my job. I found him to be very helpful and provided suggestions on how to best install our glass railings within our budget.The owner would always call and provide us updates on the progress of our railings and the install date. Again I found the quality of his work to be exceptional and his customer service rated a five out of five.Note when the railing engineer came to inspect the installation he advised me that the quality of workmanship was very well done.Overall we are more than happy with the customer service and quality of work.

We had a small aluminum railing job for our back porch that Mohammed and his team (Mrs. Mohammed) did for us. Fast, affordable, friendly, a real treat to work with. I highly recommend them.
