ORIEL WINDOWS & DOORS

Out of all the places I contacted, I found Oriel Windows to be the most difficult company to deal with. And I made a sincere and genuine effort right up until I had no choice but to cancel the work order. One of the biggest contributing factors was the rude scheduler answering the phone, who I was surprised to learn could not provide me with any helpful information regarding scheduling apart from the rudely delivered 'when we get to it' timeframe. The second time I called and was greeted by this individual, I promptly announced my name and address information and proceeded to ask about the status of the job. To which there was more rudeness and confusion about why I was calling and what it was I wanted. After finally getting in the queue and waiting many weeks for a callback (on door repairs) I finally received a call today from Oriel but unfortunately missed it during work-hours and had to phone back an hour later. I was a third time greeted by this individual who proceeded to blame me and my lack of phone answering skills, for their inability schedule me with half hour notice and the next time would again be 'whenever we get to it'. At this point I had to cancel the work and end the call. Unfortunately, I did not get to experience the quality of Oriel's work, so I cannot speak to that, because we were never able to get there on good terms. I sincerely hope Oriel makes changes to the employees representing their company as it is not enjoyable to be talked down to when contemplating spending hundreds or thousands of dollars of your hard-earned money to a business that doesn't seem to appreciate you as a customer.

This company is fantastic. They were the only ones willing to help when it came to installing a door that they did not sell. The two men that came to my house were a pleasure to deal with. They worked quickly and did an awesome job. Their pricing was great and I will definitely do business again.

Our patio door was damaged when it swung open in high winds. Called Jim up and he made sure all my concerns were met. He personally came to take the measurements and 2 weeks later, the door was installed. Fit like a glove and no concerns. The blinds within the door were fixed and all was good. Installers were great, overall very friendly staff and a great experience.

I went with Oriel Windows to replace my wooden, moldy ones. I chose Oriel for several reasons:1) I wanted a local company, so I can help our community2) I wanted a local company, for after-sales service, if needed.3) Two of my friends had dealt with Oriel and both gave me rave reviews.4) The company has 30 years experience.This is a family owned and operated company and it shows. From the time we showed Jim our problems, through the problem solving stages, to the quote, Jim Long gave us superior customer service. His suggestions were so helpful and he thoroughly explained how the job would be done.The installers - Josh, Joe and Tory - are exceptional at what they do. The job was done quickly. The guys are so honest and friendly. It was a joy to watch them - like a well-oiled machine - anticipating each others’ needs as well as ours. And all of a sudden, they were gone and except for my gleaming new windows, I would not know they had been here.

Made a request on their website to have an estimate done. Got a call back right away and they had a cancellation so fit me in quickly to measure windows. Fellow was friendly enough. However, I still to this day (2 weeks later) have not received my estimate or a call regarding it. Guess they don't need the business.

Beyond happy with our experience with Oriel Windows & Doors. The quote we were provided was competitive, and we ultimately chose to go with this company due to their price & service. Jim provided our quote, and was not pushy, unlike other salesmen we had gotten quotes from.The installation took 1 day, and the installers left barely any mess behind. The windows look excellent, and are a huge upgrade for us. The final bill matched exactly to our quote, no hidden or surprise charges.Will definitely be utilizing Oriel again when it is time to upgrade our doors & basement windows!

The crew from Oriel windows showed up on time and was professional. They completed the work properly and cleaned upbehind themselves. Best of all they went above and beyond by adjusting the door so it closed easier. Something i didn’t even ask them to do. Great job, Thank you Oreilles windows.

I phoned about a bay window replacement over a month ago. Gentleman said he would have assistant call me back to book an appointment. Three days later on a Friday; I phoned again and was told again that the assistant would call me back to book an appointment.Beginning of September I phoned again asking what the issue was for not getting a call back to book. Response was that they are busy and the assistant will call me to book an appointment the day before they can come out!?My window is falling out now and I can't wait much longer.

My wife and I saw some work Oriel did down the street from us and since we are replacing our living room window (and looking for a solution to replace our basement windows) I thought I’d ask them for a quote.Well, it took an initial call (ignored), and a follow up call to get the office to agree to send someone out. Then I waited for the estimator to book a time with us. All in, four calls over 5 days, just to book an appointment.The meeting goes fine. Jim promises a quote “early next week”. Nothing.10 days later I call and ask about the quote - “I’ll have to you tomorrow” says Jim.That was three weeks ago… Completely unprofessional!!
