Very interesting place only open to the public on a couple of days a year. Superb collection and helpful staff.a crazy shame that there is so much canadian art banked" and not on show! get it out there one of our canadian billlionaires and leave a legacy to build this bank a space to preserve. you know you are out there

Visited during Doors Open Ottawa. Great opportunity to see works of contemporary Canadian art that are not normally on show to the public. Very cool being able to wander around and pull out racks of paintings.

Fascinating place. 17000 examples of Canadian artists 'work. Not usually open to the public. The art bank lends art to MP's and corporations only for 2 years at a time.
