Primp and Proper

Got my hair and makeup done for professional headshots and couldn't have asked for a better experience. I have tricky eyes and Jane did a great job of making them pop. Definitely the best makeup application I've had-the photographer couldn't stop raving about how amazing my eyes were! Very professional and would definitely go again.

I am continuing to attend Primp and Proper for my eyebrow threading and tinting since 2019. I have continually used Faye's eyebrow threading expertise. I have also had Kseniya at Primp and Proper do my eyebrows. Kseniya is also super quick, professional and amazing at cleaning up your brows. I have no issue with getting Faye or any of her co-workers to assist me with eyebrow cleaning up.

Great customer service and friendly staff. A joy to use for eyelash extensions, and bridal hair and makeup needs so far.

Kseniya the Brow Princess does such an amazing job on my brows I’m so happy. I’m so glad I found someone I can trust fully with my eyebrows - I get the henna brow tint & shaping. She does them perfectly every time! And while I’m at the shop I always stock up with my favorite products - Byoode Mascara, Gloss.ME hair things etc. Love this shop ❤️

I had a lash lift done here recently, and unfortunately, it turned out kind of bad. My lashes were definitely over lifted, and they curl into my eyelids. Second, the right side lashes were way more curled and lifted then the left side. The right side was also unevenly lifted and a bunch of lashes were weirdly bent.The studio was really cute and I wanted to like the lift, but it’s one of the worst ones I’ve had. I’m sure they’re great at other things but I wouldn’t recommend a lash lift here.

I just had my brows Henna tinted and shaped by the amazing Kseniya! She's also did a Yumi lash lift and tint on my lashes. Both services turned out gorgeous! In addition to being extremely talented, Kseniya is such a lovely person and I always look forward to chatting during my appointments. The salon is extremely clean and professional as well.

I got a makeup service from Kseniia for my friend's wedding celebration. She was awesome! I wanted to have a natural look instead of thick makeup, which is harder, yet she did a great job and made me look elegant. My friend kept saying you look hot." that night. Lol."

My sister and I had appointments for our eyelash extensions and henna brows. I booked a month in advance to ensure mine and my sister's experience was as stress free as possible for her wedding. We were notified the Wednesday of our weekend appointments about the reschedule issue's. The tech who was going to be working on one us if us had a family emergency and would be away the weekend we had booked. Not only was it a huge inconvenience and inconsiderate it wasn't even acknowledged when we showed up for appointments. There were others listed on the website appointment booking, it was just an inconvenience that there was only 1 eyelash tech available that day when usually there are 3. Also we were not notified of our henna brows appointment being rescheduled until after we arrived and had them done individually, when they were supposed to also be done together as we had an appointment booked afterwards for other services that weren't provided there.. other then that the service's provided were great! Very amazing job from both Ksenyia and Breeana.

I got my makeup done by Andrea before my friend's wedding: she made me look absolutely beautiful and I took a bunch of selfies. Can't recommend these guys enough: I had to reschedule twice and they were super understanding about it.

I had such an informative experience with Faye for our makeup lesson session! She quickly picked out the stuff I had that I could keep using and explained how to use them and then also highlighted products that were missing and really needed. She was very helpful, clear and the final look was exactly what I had been seeking to figure out! Totally recommend. Loved the makeup and such welcoming space :)
