Surrey Libraries - City Centre Branch

The library is stunning and I experience a profound sense of calm when I enter and spend time there. I have utilized the space for both studying and teaching, and the staff and security have consistently been affable and supportive. Due to its proximity to city hall and the Surrey KPU campus, it can get quite busy. However, it is conveniently located near the skytrain, a shopping center, and numerous dining establishments. The facility is modern and well-lit, and includes various conveniences such as complimentary parking, a cafe, and designated areas for parents. The children's section is vast, and it's worth noting that registering your license plate at the entrance will grant you two hours of free parking.

Impressive building with a ton of selection. There is a small independent cafe inside too, as well as a really great kids area with toys and kid friendly furniture.The staff are so welcoming. I love that I can bring my 1 yr old here just to hang out for awhile. We love the Babytime and toddler events each week. A good place to meet other moms!Bulletin boards also do a great job of promoting everything libraries have to offer nowadays.

An excellent state of art library located in Surrey City Center. It has got excellent collection of books. It also offers several programs for kids and new comers to get acclimatized to Canada. It offers lots of different activities for kids and family. It also offers good health care camp for children vaccination. It has excellent online services to search for the available books and reserve it online.

Quiet place to work. Has lot of book to research but not the all allowed to borrow. Great design and peaceful study rooms…

Great library. The architecture is very appealing and everything is organized inside.The staff are really helpful and the queue for popular books is usually not that long (compared to the VPL). They also have a good selection for audio books.This library is also a good place to study or work. There are several computer stations and work stations available. There are plugs everywhere which is a plus.

Always is better option spend some time on a computer or reading a book. City Center public library in Surrey is available Monday to Sunday. Nice place with clean and peaceful atmosphere to stay learning.

4 levels, green powered by the plants on the roof, beautiful view and seating areas with a fireplace on the 3rd floor. Has a coffee shop, several bathrooms and air conditioning. Has 3 levels with computers and washrooms. Also has meeting rooms on every floor and a teen lounge on the 3rd floor

Other reviews will speak to the stunning interior and helpful, friendly staff. But I found architecturally the angles of the exterior and how this building plays in with its surroundings to be a complete and pleasant surprise to come across in Surrey Central. This area is worth a walk about if nothing else. Thanks Surrey! I'll not be hesitant to come over more often.

Really enjoyed visiting this library! As a guest at the Civic Hotel across the way, I wanted a quick place to study for my licensing exam and decided to make the short walk over. The library itself, is quite beautiful inside with lots of natural light pouring into the unique architecture. Just had to walk around a while to enjoy the picturesque building.The library staff was friendly and very helpful in helping me with all of my questions. Lots of desk/table space and electrical outlets everywhere. Overall a great library to visit.
