Bar Gobo, fabulous!The limited menu and small setting set the stage for exceptional food and atmosphere, the entire staff delivered an experience.The menu is great for family style sharing, the burrata and tuna tartare are necessary for a starters!Well done, BG!

Pretty cool experience, I really enjoyed our time at the restaurant. With the exception of another table, we had the restaurant to ourselves. While not a big restaurant, the place feels spacious.The menu is set, giving you two options for an appetizer and a main dish. All of the dishes tasted really good, but my only criquqie would be that the pasta dish only had five pieces...Pretty sure that Bar Gobo is more focused on flavours, but it was all good! Service was phenomenal, and the wine selections peaked my interests. Looking forward to the next menu options!

What a lovely place! Great service, intimate and cosy interior. I still dream about the thyme-infused panna cotta I had the first time I came. The cream just tasted so fresh and luxurious.The second time, we did the tasting menu and enjoyed it. My favourite dish was the acorn squash. Perfect for fall!The wine is really nice here and there's a good range of options.

Love this place. Such interesting flavours and seasonal food! The portions are on the smaller side so you may want to add on. The wines are also delightful. Highly recommend

Bar Gobo is the moment. My partner and I celebrated valentines the day after since Bar Gobo is closed on Tuesdays and shared the entire menu family style. We also shared one order of beverage pairings since he had to drive. The dishes were perfectly balanced and the pairings were unbelievable - especially both the desserts (basque cheesecake and chocolate mousse) and the averill creek vermouth. Chefs kiss!! Every stage of our dining experience added to the previous layer and we ended the meal off being very happy - delectable!

A charming wine bar in Chinatown. The food is excellent- the kitchen does a wonderful job of blending unique flavors, and all for a very reasonable price. The service is excellent too; my water glass was never empty. Sparkling water is the default water service which was a nice little bonus as most restaurants charge extra for this. Highly recommend!

Bar Gobo has quickly become one of our favorite spots in Vancouver. We currently live in LA but whenever we visit Vancouver, we always make it a point to hit them up! They focus on natural and biodynamic wines that pair beautifully with their dishes.Peter is always a fantastic host. We usually opt for the pre-fixe menu and we ask him to pair wines with each dish. His knowledge and passion for food and wine is evident and always lends to a phenomenal experience whenever we come here. Curtis was very friendly and helpful as well. It is evident that Bar Gobo has an amazing team that delivers a well-rounded dining experience that has us coming back for more. Standouts include their Heirloom Paradise Tomatoes (so good we almost ordered it again!) Oven Roasted Ling Cod, Farm Broccoli with a Shio Koji Beurre Blanc, Short Ribs, and their Chocolate Olive Oil Cake. Shoutout to Chef Neil for killing it in the kitchen! 5 stars all around for Bar Gobo. Big things coming for them. Don’t sleep on this one, guys!

I went with my parents and we had an amazing experience. The food was all incredible, and so inventive. The staff was really knowledgeable and friendly, and they suggested a perfect wine pairing, which we are now looking into buying for our home. It was a really cozy spot, and not too crowded, though we went on a Thursday night so this might be different at other times. Highly recommend for a celebration or date night!

This is a cool little spot in Chinatown that offers fusion Korean style eats. You get to choose one item from each section on the menu, which is printed on lined paper (super cool)!It’s related to Burdock and Co, so you get a similar experience, good food, service, and similar interior experience.The cocktail menu is quite small, so we went with cider, which was delicious. The restaurant is small but it doesn’t feel small as they are spaced out well.Overall the food is tasty and the menu is interesting. Some of the dishes were well made and blended well. Would love to try this place again with their next menu change. Definitely recommend checking it out some time before it gets too busy.
