A great place great service great staff and the product was really good too

I am installing a ,new from the box,Prairie Energy battery for a friend as a favour, a 6volt PE brand, and last evening I added the acid and decided to let it stand overnight as per instructions with this battery. I decided to simply test the voltage after doing this, so took my trusty multi meter and didn’t get any voltage reading, so figured the testers battery was low was the problem as I also saw that the battery low signal was flashing on the meter telling me that it’s own battery was low so brought the meter in with me to change it out overnight to test this 6 volt battery in the morning. Well, with fresh meter battery installed, I once again tested the new 6 volt battery and still found there was no reading so I decided to check the fuse in the battery’s positive lead and sure enough it was blown which surprised me as it was new from the box and installed already.I called the Edmonton store and told of my plight and asked what size fuse is used in this case and was told that it was a 10 amp 250volt, which I had on hand from my years of vehicle repair trade, so replaced it and hooked it up to my bikes charger for a 5 hour trickle charge.My thoughts here isn’t to bad name the company, but I wished that the person I was talking with had said that not to worry and we’ll send out a new replacement fuse and I’d had said , “ well, this company really does care about customer relations if this is how they handle such a simple problem with upmost customer support”. Imho, it’s the small things that prove your words without fail. I’m not condemning this company’s product here by no means, just a true expression of my thoughts here.

Fantastic service! It was like a throw back to the old days where people were consistently friendly and just plain knowledgeable. We were looking for a lithium battery. Super friendly, patient and knew about their product. The product was priced well. I would strongly recommend Prairie Battery and I will definitely go back to buy a second lithium battery if we decide we need it.

I went here for some deep cycle 6 V batteries for my RV trailer. The young staff member I dealt with was very knowledgeable on what batteries to choose. The prices are very good and competitive compared to other places . The batteries came with a 2 year warranty but hopefully last for a lot of camping years

My father came in today to purchase a new battery for his truck and was impressed by the great service! Good quality batteries at a good price. Highly recommend.

Excellent service. I needed a new battery for my garage door opener after it was beeping every few minutes.Rather than waiting a few days or up to a week for a replacement at one of the big box stores or online retailers, I wanted a replacement today, so I called up Prairie Battery, and they had the right part and I was in and out within an hour.Staff were helpful, friendly and I was glad to help a local store and get a way better price than what I could find online.Will definitely be back for other battery needs!

We had purchased several batteries from prairie about a year ago. They were working great. Then the last little while we had to boost the truck to get it going. I phoned there and as we were working close to the city we drove the truck to them. Justin had us pull around to the back and he tested all three batteries he found one that was lo volts and his other man pulled the battery out while he went and got a new one. They installed it and when i said what do i owe you he said not a thing thats warranty sorry the battery didn't last. You don't get service like that very often so i thought i would let people know that if you need batteries this is the place you want to go to.
