We have had the pleasure of working with Julie on a number of wedding ceremonies. She is always very personable and helpful with our couples, professional, and has a lovely calming affect during what can be a pretty high stress and emotional experience for the couple getting married. We can't wait to work with Julie more!

Julie officiated a celebration of life for my daughter this past May and she was amazing at helping us craft a beautiful and fitting ceremony that reflected Cassandra's uniqueness as a person.I had asked her to include some level of Indigenous spirituality into the ceremony to reflect Cassandra's desire to pay homage to some of newly discovered roots and not only did Julie meet that challenge, but she helped us build a beautiful program that was as unique and genuine and Cassandra was as a daughter.I brought up the 'feelings' I wanted to surround the ceremony in and Julie was able to take random thoughts and bring a level of beauty that I didn't think was possible. Not only did we have a beautiful day for our daughter that left this earth too early, but Julie was a calming and stable presence through the whole process. Julie would always take the time (in her beautifully melodic voice) to reassure me through the process, give me words of hope and guidance every step of the way.Julie was the consummate professional through the entire experience and I would highly recommend her for your needs. Julie is an amazing professional, but above all of that, she was an amazing presence and mentor through one of the most difficult events of our lives. I cannot reiterate enough how the entire process was made that much easier knowing I had someone in my corner that would look out for me and get me through the process.I need to also state how everything Julie said she would do, she did, and her level of attention to detail (numerous drafts of the end to end ceremony, timings etc.) was beyond my expectations. She is one in a million and exceptionally good in this role. She will NOT disappoint you in meeting your needs.

My husband and I were lucky enough to have Julie marry us this spring. She is so patient, and kind, and made us feel very comfortable in sharing our emotions and our relationship with her. This made for such a beautiful, personalized ceremony, and we couldn’t have been happier. She took the time to draft up and re-draft the ceremony to our liking and many of our guests commented on how lovely the ceremony was because of her.

Julie was an amazing officiant for our wedding .from planning our ceremony to all her kind words, she was wonderful. We got married in a snowstorm and she was a trooper bundled up and gail force winds didn't stop her. Julie was the perfect choice for our elopement. If you are getting married in Muskoka she's who you want.

Julie Petroski of Ritewords performed our wedding ceremony in June 2022. Julie may as well have showed up in a superhero cape that morning. We had picked our wedding date for significant reasons, and she came in on short notice to help us out.You were so wonderful and your husband was so sweet to take pictures.Thank you Julie!
