Get here early on Sundays! We waited about half an hour for a table for four. Staff was amazing, always making sure our coffee mugs were full. Food was good, too, the waffle Benny was very nice.

The place is definitely old with smells like it is old. Seems like an old pub. Not many places inside to sit down. The service was excellent, and so was the menu. The apple salad with « big mac sauce » and pickles was a bit weird in the morning. Otherwise, everything else was so good, starting with their famous waffles. I also had the blueberry pancakes and they were delicious.

Heard good things about this place, decided to try it out and it is as good as all the reviews say it is. Service is good and probably the best waffles ive ever had ! They are delicious! We enjoyed the cut up apples with the sauce as it's something different! It has an old school vibe. We recommend and will return in the future!

A fantastic brunch place, a hidden gem if you will (not so hidden though because there usually is a line up).The place itself is a bit small and crowded, but staff were extremely friendly, and quite attentive. The food was exquisite, our whole party loved what they ordered. I thoroughly enjoyed my omelette, and would get it again. One thing to note is you cant reserve and they dont have a waiting list so you gotta just line up on weekend brunch times. All in all, a must try place.

Petit Dejeuner
Our routine Saturday brunch exploration took us to Le petit-déjeuner, meaning “breakfast”. We arrived technically around lunch time, when there was already a long line. 30 minutes wait and we were let in- lucky to be seated in the window sofa seat, arguably the best seat in the store! Ordered two iconic waffle sets: one with smoked salmon and porched egg and the other with bacon and scrabbled egg. I would personally vote for the Apple slice dipped with maple sauce and hollandais. Great food and nice service. Only downside: you tend to feel a bit rushed to dine here because of the long line outside and the relatively crowded space.

Setting: Small sitting area so expect to be uncomfortable, once you get a seat as you will probably have to wait.Service: Good service. They are not overly friendly but still attentive to any needs you have.Food: The menu is not large and the options are the same with just minor changes based on if you want sweet or savory. The waffle tasted like an old country meal bread not the usual buttermilk. The pancakes are also not sweet but instead lack any flavor and the blueberries taste worse than unwashed.I do not think the cost warrants the quality of food and preparation. The food is plated well so entices many.

The service and atmosphere were nice. I thought the food was good and interesting. The portions were small but had a unique mix of flavors. Not something I'd go to frequently but definitely worth the try

I would recommend the waffles and french toast! They were both delicious — the waffles are a bit different than waffles from other places, definitely more crispy. So good! The apple slaw that comes with the other dishes are okay, and I am not a huge fan of the seasoning used on the home fries. We also ordered the spinach and brie omelette which was also delicious.Bit of a wait to go in on a Sunday but worth it for the waffles and the french toast!

I love all the wood. I love the old and the quirky and how comfortable the place is. The service is great and very friendly. The rosti potatoes are out of this world and smothered in eggs, hollandaise the world becomes perfect. Coffees are great and so are morning cocktails. Omelets are great especially veggie ones and a dessert of French toast is just the right hit of sweet. I have been coming here forever and it’s well worth a visit. Let’s keep supporting these sweet small local spots.

Petit Déjeuner is a cozy spot to get some delicious breakfast food. Their apple slaw is fresh and unique, something you won’t find at other breakfast spots. My friend and I got the breakfast crepe which is a great savoury crepe filled with breakfast staples and your choice of protein. I will definitely be going back to try out their waffles!
