Tynehead Perimeter Trail
Nice wide paved trail that is in excellent condition making it a good cycling trail or for strollers. Little long for kids but there are plenty of benches along the path to stop for breaks. It also has a bit of slope over much of it that varies a bit in steepness which could make it hard to bike on for small children. Great for a walk with the dog and they provide several trash cans along the route. Keep a lookout for the signs about the wildlife and old farm that used to be here.

Tynehead Perimeter Trail
Wide paved loop pathway with little to no elevation. This park and sections of this trail are directly adjacent to the freeway, so it's really not a peaceful place. But there is a dog off-leash park and facilities and a generally good place for walk on a rainy day if you live nearby.

Tynehead Perimeter Trail
The paved trail looping around the eastern section is smooth and wide. It's perfect for for running solo or in a group. The loop is just over 4k.

Enjoyed walking in Sunny spring Sunday. Good for walking, jogging, cycling or just relaxing. Moderate to intermediate in intensity.

Tynehead Perimeter Trail
A decent place for long walking and biking. It is the best place to ride bikes with kids as the road is well paved and maintained.

Very clean trail. Ample parking. Walk is approximately 4.8 kms I believe. Just under 5 kms if do the full trail. Make sure have ample water and supplies. Half way through can cross street and go to dog park has outhouse washroom and more parking.

Paved wide trail with some small hills. Lots of park benches, lots of waste bins. Decent parking, lots of Pokemon Go stops for those who play.

Newly repaved circle path makes for an enjoyable walk. Dog park and picnic area make for a great place to bring the family. Additional washrooms would be a nice add for a fifth star.

We enjoyed our walk, the path is mostly flat and all paved and wide and there are some cute signs to read along the way which made the walk more exciting, I wish there was more of them.If you turn right from the parking, you will be starting with the most steep part uphill, that triggered my Asthma, next time I will try starting on the left side. There is also a little book with photos of all the invasive plants in the park hidden in a little nook. Did you see this during your walk?
