I used to really love this place, I bought their donuts on the college campus all the time. But it seems service has been a bit on a decline unfortunately. Without fail, every time I have ordered on Uber they have forgotten my drink, now usually I just get it reimbursed but its a shame because I really like their chai. I call asking if the driver forgot it, every time without fail the person on the phone says “oh sorry I forgot to make it.” Not gonna lie, it does make me sad :/ The donuts are nice, though admittedly sometimes a little dry, otherwise no issue there. All in all, 3/5 for me, I recommend avoiding ordering on Uber as it seems they aren’t quite used to the system.

The only donut place I know that makes Vegan donuts!!! Says a lot about a business when they go out of their way like that.

Donuts are very over the top, the staff isn't quite warm, or trying to be friendly. Alot of sales pitch, and alot of fan service

I wanted to like Ca Beigne. I truly did. We tried a number of different donuts and they were all just sickly sweet. The worst part is the texture. I'm a baker, so it seems to me that they are using AP or even bread flour. Donuts are not supposed to be dense like that. They should have a nice crumb, which is why they are basically small cakes. The donuts we had were so dense that we needed to get drinks to even get them down. As a person from Southern California who is used to Vietnamese and Cambodian donut shops, perhaps Canadians just do donuts as frosted, dense cakes" or something. I don't know. The price is also way too high for what you get. $20 for half a dozen donuts isn't really reasonable. You can walk around the corner to Les Vrais Richesses and get true French-style pastries for the same price that are decadent and true to real French viennoiseries/patisseries. To say something semi-positive

At the time that I went they hadn't started their gluten-free menu yet, so I can't speak to the food, but the space and the service were both very nice. Family seemed to like the doughnuts.
